Looks like the premise is that Batman, along with some others of his Rogues Gallery, got sent back in time to Sengoku-era Japan. Considering the big names in anime attached to this show, and considering it's BATMAN, I'm surprised to not have heard more of it earlier.

The announcement was about a month or 1,5 months ago. Gurenn-Lagann/Kill la Kill scriptwriter is in charge of scenario.

Timeline fuckery is in play I think considering that Joker declares himself as "Demon Lord of the Sixth Heaven". And with Grodd wearing Toyotomi headgear, I'm guessing the gorilla is the monkey. That leaves Batman, the one who fought/defeated "Nobunaga" in a building as Mitsuhide.

And not just the rogue galleries either. You got Alfred, the 4 Robins and Catwoman in too. For the rogues, aside from Joker and Harley, there's also Penguin, Poison Ivy, Two Face and Deathstroke.

Looks visually interesting and I believe this is the first time we're seeing four different Robins onscreen even though Damian has questionable hair and is smiling.

Batman Kôichi Yamadera
Joker Wataru Takagi
Harley Quinn Rie Kugimiya
Catwoman Ai Kakuma

Wataru Takagi as the Joker is perfect. Harley Quinn being voiced by the loli tsundere is funny but probably not going to work.

looks like even 'batman" can't escape from the "isekai power"!!!!!, that asian curse power was too big even for "batman!!!!

lol, being serious really look gorgogenous, omg, why dc animated studios(before peoples i know this is not made from that studio but they are the ones "behind the scenes" bossing around), aways where able to push the awesome things which the dc movies normally ending failing???, why dc is soo cool when make cartoons, animes, comics and even "mangas but fail so bad in movies?:??? what sort of curse is that???
