A good episode. The dialogue at Hitagi's place was fun as always, plus there's something inherently cool about that room. Araragi getting brutally beat up came as quite a shocker, leaving me anxious to see what'll happen next. Like the others said, it's probably (and hopefully) a set-up for another great episode.
By the way, those birds flying up and down and Araragi's lock of hair - what exactly are they supposed to represent (if anything)? |

This ep' left me a mixed feeling.
In fact it points the main flaw of the show (and as the same time, its main quality) : Senjohara. I mean, like the Joker in Dark Knight she really steals the show and that makes all the moments she is not on the screen less entertaining if not boring. I have never felt that way while watching an anime. Quite weird, I admit. |

one second earlier, araragi was beaten up by some guy (I guess everybody can guess who it was xD) and then, she comes up, seeing him bleeding and lying on the ground but still not expressing something in her voice or on her face xD |

Edit: On second, you can think of it a bit more generically than that if you like. Perky equals perky and droopy equals droopy. |

One of my favorite parts of the episode- when he told Hitagi "Long time no see" after the attack... maybe it was because he knows that the damage will heal, but for him to be able to calmly greet her like that (and of course her acting indifferent to his injury as well)... I don't know if that would qualify as badass or not. Then again, we are talking Araragi here, who seems to deal with this stuff all the time...

Damn...that initial first punch looked...horribly painful
Quite the cliffhanger ending we have here. Not much else for me to say I've really enjoyed watching this one much like the rest of series thus far Oh and nice to see it get it's own sub-forum btw |

This episode has made me realize that (so far) I enjoy Hachikuji and Kanbaru more than Senjougahara.
The relationship between Hachikuji and Araragi is a bit touching, considering Hachikuji's condition, and Kanbaru seems like a funny character when she's admiring Araragi. That, and the relationship between Araragi and Senjougahara feels just awkward to me. |
