episode is getting better and better...
finally we can get full grasp about Medaka's past... just how big Zenkichi is in Medaka's life

Zenkichi should be the main character instead of Medaka because of his big role. He even exceeding Maguro's expectation...
I also hope we'll meet that white haired kid someday

Medaka not so much Medaka anymore.
Her powers now are even more incredible then before.
Hitoyoshi vs Medaka.
That was a desperate fight for the real Medaka.
The part about Medaka's past was interesting.
Unusual, but fun episode.

Maybe 3rd season though, manga is still far ahead.

There's enough content for a 3rd season, sure, but the DVD's aren't selling so hot, so monetarily there'd be no benefit in producing a 3rd season

Since this is Shonen Jump we should consider that a 3rd season might be more dependant on manga sales than dvd sales.

I just realized that, since ep 12 will be written by NishoIshin himself, we're probably in for a troll of epic proportions.

Think about it. Mr. Meta Reference himself is writing an anime-original episode/ending to a series animated by Gainax. I repeat, Meta Reference Man is writing an episode for a GAINAX series. This episode alone might be worth having watched the series, which has actually gotten a lot better in the second cour.

The final episode of the first season was also written by Nisio, and while it was somewhat better received hardly blew anyone away. And it's pretty clear by now that Gainax is a shadow of its former self.

Season 2 is far better than Season 1.. Season two us more romantic in theme balanced with action....

I think they both need to be the main characters. They need each other to progress individually.

Spoilers on 2ch say that 12th episode will be extended Good Loser Kumagawa. With Anshi'n voiced by Nana Mizuki and Saki Sukinasaki (Shark teeth) by Youko Hikasa.

It doesn't make any sense to end the series on an episode like that either. This is OVA material. Who would introduce a new character in depth on the very last episode of a series?

I think the opposite -Kumagawa being completely left out- is far more likely to happen, unless they are planning to make a third season.

They did same thing in first season. Anime original episode with 2 original characters.

You can't blame Gainax for trying a last-ditch attempt to make at least some money on this series, so why wouldn't they have the last episode devoted to the most popular character in this series?
