The official site (JPN) was updated recently and you can see a lot of the alternate costumes as well as beautiful CG renders of each character in their respective page.

I like how FFX-2 was completely ignored in terms of Yuna's alternate costumes tbqh.

Anyway, has anyone else tried out the demo? I sure have and good god Kain is ridiculously awesome to play as and Jump has got to be the coolest HP attack ever. Lightning's not far behind either and role changing's much more intuitive than I thought it'd be.

Dengeki also has a few details on the game's quest creation system. As previously detailed, you can create original quests, which can be sent out to other players. By making use of character icons, you'll be able to create mini stories for these quests. You can also create event scenes.

It looks like the official site will be distributing quests too. The summaries of Dengeki's story don't mention anything about the downloadable music and costumes that Dengeki Games mentioned (see below.)

Nomura is interviewed in the magazine and says that they'll be adding stuff until the very limit. He jokes that if they make another Dissidia, they'll have to change the hardware.

Out of all the new information, i'm most looking forward to that quest creation system. Hours are going to be spent on that mode, i just know it.

The power to create fanfiction within a game was not one humanity was meant to wield tbqh.

Still looking forward to seeing that mode. It'd be cool if you could even add dialogue to the characters for said quest (in those dialogue box things without actual voice acting obviously), though it'd be a pain to type it out on a PSP.

A little bit more information on Aerith and her role. She'll be keeping her Advent Children appearance which pleases me greatly. Easily her best look, though i do rather like the white dress attire from Kingdom Hearts.

It's going to be fun when Lightning and Aerith are on the same screen. Maaya Sakamoto overload.

Supposedly, Prishe is being voiced by Hirano Aya. Can anyone confirm? If so, I'm going to be laughing like Kefka, because I kept saying Prishe reminded me of Haruhi in FFXI. Her signature move, Nullifying Dropkick (which is an HP attack in this game) even looks like Haruhi's kick.

Well, I haven't played FFXI, but from what I've read about Prishe, sounds like a good fit.

So I grabbed the Prologus demo today and it was very fun. I love playing as Lightning as she has so many abilities to use. What I don't like is the new chase system. I can't dodge anything for **** anymore. It's either mash x from the start or take a risk and not hit anything. Maybe it'll get easier as I play more, but right now it's tough.

If anyone has any questions feel free to ask.

I like the new chase. Old one was too damn slow, breaking up the action and just being annoying in general. Here if you don't press anything it almost instantly disappears and you're back to normal fighting. It is kinda tough reacting in time but I've gotten better after like 15+ hours with the demo.

Prishe is actually my #1 new character I'm excited for thus far. I'm not really a big fan of her character from FFXI, but the fact that she utilizes the skillchain system for her brave attacks is awesome. I loved how that was designed in FFXI.

Well to be fair the game probably won't be at the top of my 'to buy' list. Would have thought with the expanded roster would have gotten some characters that I had to play in there. At least better than the original which I didn't end up buying at all.

lvl73 samurai, 75 paladin... yea I played it a lot. I just dont likem ok? don't have a cow over someone elses interests.

its only fair they would pick a male character from FFXI, like tenzen or somethin.. and NO sephiroth is NOT a samurai.. not even close... so no there isnt a samurai character yet...
