Indeed.
(As an aside...) EDIT: Episode 3. I think they threw in a Rescue Fire joke there early on. Looks like they cropped a couple of the funnier human scenes in the Western version - not least the 'where do the small organics come from' bit. And the family bit is baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad. Also... Soundwave next week!

I found some of the newer eps, yay!
I'm going through ep 5 at the moment. Akio Ohtsuka is Lockdown - and he's cool. (Or as Megatron calls him, "Looooock-DOOOOOOOOOOOOWN!") Also, Arcee has the same seiyuu as Feldt in Gundam 00. Sounds very different, though. And the Autobot family thing finally pays off - "GOD DAMNIT!"

At the start of episode 9, Bumblebee finishes up his little greeting...
...then starts singing part of the song! "Yami no kanata seijaku wo hikisaki Hoshi no nemuri yobiokosu no wa Doitsu da?" Also, the next episode should offer another chance to hear both Charl-arachnia and Suwabe-nel Prime in action.

Episode 10.
Junichi Suwabe (Archer from Fate/Stay Night) is back as Sentinel, as is Ryoka Yuzuki (Charl from Princess Lover), voicing Elita-1/Blackarachnia. She sounds pretty good in this ep! Also, the family bit has a little relationship chart mapped out for the three old friends - and the kid even mentions Blackarachnia's Beast Wars heritage! Beast Wars, yay.

I've been a little behind with my TFAJ following, what with the World Cup on and everything. I'll get around to it eventually.
However, I did pick up something really nice this week - volume 2 of the Allspark Almanac! The first volume (which I'm having trouble trying to find nowadays...) took a look at seasons 1 and 2. This one loks at season 3, as well as a whole load of extra stuff, unused ideas for what would have been season 4, and a bunch of extra setting details... ...not least maps of both the Cybertron star system and the Milky Way Galaxy as portrayed in Transformers Animated! Very cool indeed. Oh, and there's a nice nod to the Japanese dub on the back cover, too.
