Well, I wouldn’t let it bothers me much. Saint Seiya anime & manga are not necessarily canon to each other after all. So, since Next Dimension is (still) a manga, it’s in a different universe and not related to Omega.

I saw it. Shoryu isn't Shiryu's son though, Shiryu clearly said in the fourth panel that Shunrei found the baby in the mountains, so no conflict with Ryuhou in Omega.

I have to say it's a pretty surprising twist. I fully expected Genbu to be on Mars' side.

I am actually happy about the new plotwists since is not being as predictable as we though it would be.

Ah, so that’s why Libra cloth “fell in love” with Genbu. Not because it got bored sitting there with Shiryu doin’ nothin’ .

Btw, it’s pretty tragic that Gold Saints has been degrading in terms loyalty and virtue as era passes (if we only count the anime). In LC, almost all Golds are loyal to Athena despite some “rebellious” ones like Asmita, Kardia, etc. In the original series, three (if not four) of them are outright traitors/evil while the rest are deceived or dead. Now in Omega, we only have two(?) good Golds, while the others are quite deranged individuals. One commits his entire life for breaking people's bones , one lives for (a creepy concept of) “love” , one is sucking life from others to live forever , and god knows what the following Golds have in store for us .

From the sinopsis we get that Fudo is the reincarnation of Fudo Myo. And fights the bronze saints without wearing his gold cloth then Koga, Yuna and Ryuuho arrives and deals with them after forcing him to wear his cloth. Then Eden appears and kicks them out of Virgo temple and fights Virgo alone.

From the look of things Eden is not still not much of a team player, since he is the first one to decide by himself that he was gonna fight a gold saint alone, the others dont seem to object about having extra help when fighting a gold saint.

It makes a lot of sense when you think about it. The OP showed them back to back, the cloth "chose" him and when you consider the relationship Aries has with Libra the pieces fall together perfectly.

Well, duh of course. In LC Athena was in charge, now we have Mars and Ionia in charge, personally recruiting them. I guess they would avoid people with a strong potential to betray them.

Still, there's Kiki, Genbu, Seiya...Harbinger let them pass and i guess Mycenae will do the same..so there are already five not on their side or who failed them. The only one who seemed unredeemable was Schiller, and he's gone.

Pretty interesting stuff about Genbu, but I was suspecting it since I saw the new OP. I'm looking forward to the Virgo Saint, those guys are always interesting, I suppose this guy would follow the same pattern, judging from the name.

I’m well aware of that. Just saying how tragic it is, that’s all. Those Golds are supposed to be warriors of Athena who fought to defend earth and its residents. Now, look what many of them have become.

Also, Harbinger still likes to break people's bones and hearts. How is that redeemable? Plus, it's kinda implied that he's already tortured/killed many people (some of them are good men like those police officers). Letting those bronzes passed because he didn’t feel like breaking their bones to death clearly not even close to enough to redeem him. If you said Schiller is unredeemable, so is Harbinger until he stops his "breaking people's bones" hobby and sacrifices/dedicates his life to help the Bronzes/Athena.
