soul burial by zanpakuto - goes to SS (it is supposed to be heaven lol) or hell based on sins
turns to hollow - HM or maybe roams around in the living world some time seeking food - i.e. human souls hollow is slain by zanpakuto - same as soul, sins from hollow-time are ignored hollow is slain by quincy (or, possibly, anything except a zanpakuto) - deader then dead another 2 questions concerning Shunsui's shikai : 1) the shadow game - basically as long as you're casting a shadow - it is vulnerable to manipulation by your opponent .. but the opposite is also true .. but what about if you're casting it from the air - it is possible, sun is behind you, you're casting a big one on the ground, but you yourself are in the air and not actually touching it per se .. does it work then ? or do you have to be on the ground and it actually has to start from your feet ? I assume the latter 2) the color game - regardless of who called the color - the 'calculation' of damage is done based on the colors of the one who is striking (not the one who named the color) ? .. as an example - in the end, after black was called, if Starrk managed to dodge and hit Shunsui while 'black' was still active - would it be the same fatal strike, because Shunsui (who called the color) had all black or it would've been fairly minor damage, because Starrk himself had little black (but balanced by the fact that he could strike at any area) ? I assume the latter again

When people die, we know they can either move straight into Soul Society or remain in the world of the living. Those that die being trapped in their own despair, or those that have some kind of mission or goal to accomplish usually don't move on. In any case, there's all kinds of reasons people end up remaining in the world of the living for too long after death. So unless these particular beings are forced to go to SS (via soul burial) by a shinigami, it's only a matter of time before they turn into a hollow. Because if other hollow don't turn them into one, their chain of fate is eventually going to fully erode. Now as far as hell's concerned, we've only seen hollow get taken their. So in the end, I suppose we've never been directly told what happens to evil humans once they die. Perhaps Kubo wants us to assume that people like that are inevitably bound to remain in the world of the living and therefore are bound to become hollow--which is why only hollow have been seen going to hell. But I wonder if it's just as likely for a soul with no ties to the world of the living to simply pass on into hell on their own as oppose to SS. Because if an evil spirits fate is to enter hell anyways, why would hell care to wait for the spirit to turn into a hollow first? All that would do is unknowingly give the spirit a pretty good chance to avoid their fate/punishment.

kido corps ? Hachigen's and Tessai's shtick
out of squads - no idea .. frankly Byakuya alone possibly used more kido then all other captains combined, but I doubt that makes 6-th the best at kido 4-th is a certainty, but it's healing kido

4th division is probably the most official answer you'll get. Supposedly, pg 124 of the Bleach bootleg contains a question-answer section from Unohana in which she's asked:
"What do you require of new recruits?" To that she replies: "People who are Kidō specialists would be good, yes." |

2) Not familiar with this game, but I assume that each "call" lasts for only one strike, then the other one has to call a colour before striking in response. |

ok, here's another one
post-defection, he wears a kind of a shirt with clasps, that sticks out from under his pink/magenta-ish belt and extends further down a little bit along the legs .. does this extension continue on his back (i.e. covering his ass xD) ? We can't see because of the pimping coat, but I wonder. Is it just something Kubo pulled out or a japanese 'shirt' ? P.S. ok nvm, I see it @ ch. 393 p. 1

However if you are high up in the air, chances are with all the reflected light from building or other surfaces, the shadow you cast on the ground would be diffused to the point where you have no shadow. So your pretty safe up in the air against Shunsui shadow game. what I DONT GET....how/why does he teleport into people shadows...? Quote:
Shunsui actually sliced Starrks arm off, but since he had no grey on himself, it turned into a light skin cut. Not a very useful game if they have a colour you have very little of. Youre better off in melee without the game. |

well it gives an element of surprise and lets you end it in one hit if you're wearing one color .. I mean Starrk got stabbed right through the chest earlier and could still fight Shunsui evenly, it took a full color slice to defeat him
and besides, Starrk figured it out, because he's actually observant and smart .. someone else (yammy lol) wouldn't have done that so gg for him Quote:

But he would still need to be close to Starrk when steps on it for the his shikai game to manipulate both shadows right? Would it work if Shunsui was on the otherside of the battlefield and Starrk stepped on his shadow, could he appear out of Starrks shadow? |

not sure, this shadow game was pretty ambiguous in the manga, only expanded a little in the anime .. if Shunsui needed to physically step on Starrks shadow before doing anything, then he must've done so before coming out of it and impaling Starrk - how the hell did Starrk not sense him then ? He must've known the surprise pistol blast didn't kill Shunsui or even knock him out
P.S. When and how did Aizen see the Spirit King ? When did he have time to go there and how did he do it ? He found out the location of the Oken (key) from Yama ? How ? He made it ? What about the souls and the spirit-rich land ? Probably his transcendance allowed him to just go there via teleport lol, but when did he do it ? It had to be while Gin was still with him

But I digress. So just because Aizen and Urahara may have technically seen the Spirit King, it doesn't necessarily mean that they had to enter the Kings Realm just to do it. As far as we know, Aizen never managed to break into his realm. Last edited by sayde; 2011-01-19 at 11:10. |

How big is the dangai? It's got to be pretty big for them to have to run for quite a while to get through it, but surely it must be stupidly huge for it to contain enough oxygen to keep two people alive for 3 months (while Ichigo probably consumes less oxygen when in jinzen, his surplus is used by Isshin, who is reduced to panting by the end of the time in there)?

does Ichigo's new form after Dangai training but BEFORE the FGT have a cool official name ? or is it just his new bankai ? I mean that form wasn't temporary like FGT, right ? It was like his bankai + Hollowside fused
P.S. He never fires a GT in that form, right ? only regular slashes, but his strength, speed, durability are damn near godlike even compared to Aizen
