There is a multitude of reasons why but in short:

yuri> yaoi

For a very simple reason. And it doesn't begin to touch on the issues of homosexual relationships.

There's more males here than females. And to begin with, one of the reasons Nanoha fanbase existed and became this large is due to its popularity within the yuri fandom, and by such, there's largely less who prefers yaoi than yuri.

Nanoha is kinda like the reverse of shows like Getbackers, Gundam SEED, LOL CLAMP, and the such, with a much smaller portion for heterosexuality though, if only because even if the larger portions of females like shonen-friendship/ai/anything that allows them to visualize a homosexual image, the portion of romantist females that like hetero are a little larger as well. To put in context, it's kinda like a 90:10 for yuri, and a 80:20 for yaoi ones.

And people find two hot girls going at it more fappable as opposed to 2 males. And maybe because some people don't enjoy the male part of relationships that are often portrayed in a more melodramatic manner, aka the 'balls-up-the-wall man-to-man' drama.

Clamp and one of their works "Legal drug". I read up to the 2nd volume and I stopped.

As far as I know and can recall of the images here, no. The image hunters might have a clue or two though.

Very interesting picture. It has a bit of a Bleach feel to it. It kind of makes me think of Nanoha as a quincy from Bleach, actually.

I always shake my head at the hypocrisy of it all. After all, the two are nothing more then two sides of the same coin.

Me? I don't have a moral compass that damns either side, hence I collect all there is on both sides. Although I've seen more then enough NanoFate for the moment, and I'm on the prowl for my favourite pairings: VitaNano and FateSig.

That sums it up nicely my view about the core of the issue as well.

Heck no pairing is too weird for me but my preferences lie more towards individual and group pictures like the lightning squad pic I last posted sometime ago. More in line with the main theme of the series after all, pairings aside.

Nanoha has very few prominent male characters, and fewer still that aren't older men. It has loads of prominent, and attractive, female characters, however.

Hence, it tends to attract fans who are more into attractive images of females (in general) than attractive images of males (in general).

Also, a lot of straight men like yuri images, but no straight man that I know truly likes yaoi images (for their own personal enjoyment).

I find that straight women are different here, with many being able to like yuri pictures though they are straight.

Ah, VitaNano is like, the most elusive pairing ever I think. I have more FateSig than VitaNano D: .

And as for the yaoi/yuri issue, I just collect things I find awesome and/or adorable.

This image for example:

Spoiler for Non-Nanoha related, ShinjixKaworu-ness:

I feel like both are just fine, in a certain context. I'm probably the only male that doesn't have a HUEG amount of Hentai, as I find no use for it :3

Well that makes sense. I have a friend who took one look at Nanoha and Fate and she said, "lol canon couple amirite". And about Konata and Kagami. But whatever. We both think that Shinji/Asuka > * so yeah.
