Lotte is known for their gummy candies. I'll see if I can pop a bag later.

Lotte is known for making a bunch of imitation suspiciously-look-a-like snacks.
The difference with the Chinese Knock-offs are, being a major snack company on its own, Lotte ones are just as tasty as the originals. The three big snack giants in Japan are: Meiji, Morinaga, and Lotte

No need to even bring up China because well anything pretty much goes there. I love those knock-off gadgets in China though, like sticking a 16bit system inside a Playstation-esque shell. That's some oddly-amusing ingenuity there!

Not Lotte. Meiji. Considering how Ao-jisan referenced to Lotte licking up other confectioners' designs.........
Interestingly Morinaga is known for its milk caramel other than its Hi-Chew sweets, so yeah, either way works.

Not that I am complaining though, at least they didn't advocate guys giving chocolate to guys. No Sume-nee, no matter how much a stake in that company you buy, they will NOT run adverts like that. Basically, if there is such a personification of the companies, I think it would be something like this :
