Well, another day, another round of failed attemps at killing the boss. Getting quite some trophy Kagerou/Yuugumo class DD in each attemp (with the obligatory Hyuuga in between).

I just hope finish this before sunday.

It will put her in a weakened final form, yes.
But it's the quest that reduces the defensive power.
The armor value in her final forms is higher than the pre-final ones in every difficulty.

It is speculated, that the hidden debuff reduces her armor.

The clear-node-I-&-J-once debuff supposedly affects boss's FINAL FORM armour.

ha i won. i beat the even and got all the new ships. e3 hard was a pain in the rear. mostly because of that damn node m. i mean it was a pain in the butt cause for starters i couldnt do the node I s rank because my subs just would either not cut in or do pitiful damage. so i said screw it

well my last dance started out kinda bad too. first node my support expidition does a pitiful 12 damage , and itailia got hit to orange. second node my support doesnt trigger and roma gets hit to orange. make it to node M and thank god no one got hurt. So now where at the boss and between my lbas and boss support they only take out 3 ships. well my clts managed to be good and whiped out 3 more ships. maya gets knocked out and my bbs hammer the rest so now we go to night battle and we have the boss and the 2 carrier himes. ayamani goes first and gives a beautiful cut in to the face of the boss knocking her to 154 health , abukuma goes and hurts one of the himes down to red, so poi gets her turn taking out a full carrier hime with her bad ass self. kiso now fires and almost kills the last hime. oichie gets her turn killing the boss completly and then kitagami finishes off the last him. S ranked that bitch lol so happy

Whether her defensiv epower is also lowered (thus the I and J debuff) is visible on her hull as it will stop glowing or start glowing no idea - depends whether the glow is supposed to be fire.

Guys, I have something INTERESTING going on with my game at the moment.

I was leveling both Hitomi and Iyo at node C when I noticed something interesting.

When my Hitomi was non-Kai, her consumption of fuel and ammo were at the same rate.

After I Kai Hitomi though, this is what happens.....



Before Hitomi Kai, she had the same consumption rate as Iyo.......

After I Kai her, I expected her to run out of fuel and ammo equally, faster than Iyo but this is what I got instead. Wiki mentions her consumption rate of fuel and ammo is 1:1 so how does she have 0% fuel and 48% ammo left?

Welp, I got I-13 at last. 33 runs, and got her on A-rank. S-ranks are overrated.

I chipped around 1000 off the boss so I'm getting to clearing that tomorrow.

Again, the defensive power debuff (-25) comes from the quest.

Did you actually read what I wrote?

You wrote, the quest would lower her armor. (those were your words)
My response was: No, it doesn't. It reduces her defensive powers.

And it's still speculated, what the hidden debuff does exactly.
The speculated effects are:
Boss Armor (yes, armor) debuff
CV-Hime debuff

Air raid node like node C consumes 8% fuel and 4% ammo, with a minimum of 1 unit.

Yes. Just like all previous event maps with two stages.

Oh good, nice to hear.

And yeah, I second the comment on getting an S-Rank on node I in E3-Hard. Cruiser hime is ridiculously tough, and it really needs a good cut in to do more than double-digits on her. Still stuck on A-Ranks even now.

Rather unexpected clearing run. Perfect S-ranked the first two nodes. Air nodes resulted in chūha Chōkai and Kitakami.

At night battle a single CVH at 43 HP was left and the twins at 403 HP. With the help of a crushing strike by Ōi their HP was brought down to 100. However, Ayanami failed to cut-in (how I dislike relying on cut-ins), but somehow still dealt 60 damage - I didn't bother with debuff. And then Kitakami finished it with this 93 crit at chūha.
