Yea they actually showed Mamoru seriously annoyed a little at yuna which was interesting, but it didn't last long ^^ still the atmoshere was a little more serouis in the parts in the flashback.

I just watched the first 7 eps. of this, (currently downloading the 8th) and wow, this is hilarious! A refreshing change in the "harem" type of anime where the guy is not a total loser and the lead girl is a totally cute, ditzy but non-annoying airhead!

I loved that quote by one of Yuna's classmates about her: "She'd be really hot if she weren't a total dimwit!"

And, oh...something related to my home country... the "terrifying" NATA DE COCO!!

And Bluemaru pwns Pakkun or ANY of Kakashi' nin-dogs any day of the week!

I just felt like Mamoru alittle bit more prodigy in this epiosode.Tsubaki got only a small fraction of air- time.I think ,all among the ninja-grils , Hotaru is the prettiest one.

Though I've never thought that girls with ponytails were cute, she's an exception. I was quite amazed at how I went "Wow, she's cute."

Now I understand what Airi was saying about "continuously lowering her standards" in picking a boyfriend (ep. 2)! The girl is LOADED!!

That spoiler "ninja technique" would've been downright hilarious --- if I hadn't seen it done before in (of all places), a hentai mahou shoujo-type anime! (Sex Warrior Pudding)

But it was still pretty funny, with all the build-up and all.

Someone should create a Banana-Banana mobile ringtone.

Nah, it's even older than that. Look at the "How to Kill Godlike Super Bio-mecha" handbook for Evangelion . Stopping one is as easy as shooting its tail off its @$$. >_<

Airi should hire Chuck Norris for security . Ninja teen is too elite for what she has now.

I wonder how many episode does Kage Kara Mamoru take. I would be sad if it has only 12-13 episode. Sorry Guys I just found the answer on other page. Thank

Yuna's Banana Song
Ok the scary thing is that in episode 9 Yuna actually does have the banana song as her ringtone on her mobile phone.

I'm really enjoying this series - it's not overlight light nor overly
serious and the humor hasn't been too objectionable.

Now we just wait and see who Mamoru falls for (if any).

Between the girls fighting for his attention, protecting
Yuna and his parents putting him to the test, he's going
to be a blithering nervous wreck by the time he graduates
although without the glasses and in the ninja garb he's cool
as a cucumber. Maybe it is all a complex act.

We'll have to see if Yuna displays any brain evolvement as
the series goes on or if that's all an act too.

Horrifyingly... its the banana song that keeps me watching .... super ninjas tend to be boring... Yura is so heartwarmingly dim ....

I think the point of the show is to make fun of the whole super ninja thing, which I have to admit is part of the reason why I like it so much.

Though it also helps that the series goes for comedic effect instead of dramatic. I know I want to set the banana song as the ringtone for my wife.
