Did Yuu use her magic to fill in the work because it didn't look like she wrote anything. Haruna's from the beginning was crazy but it paid off. Enjoyed him crawling in the shade especially under the car.

Maelstrom finally makes her appearance and is ahead of all the other girls. If it wasn't for Yuu she would be my favorite. Wonder how the others will catch up now that he's married. Wonder if she'll move in now.

I'm guessing Sera's faction of vampire ninjas are the ones that are attack Maelstrom's faction. At least we now know what that last scene was in last weeks ep. Really like how they stole the recipe.

The Tanabata wishes were all great. Wonder what Ayumu wished for. Sera's outfit was pricelss.

Mael was so cute when she brought him the bento and when she was talking about her dream to get married.

I have no idea when Haruna celebrates her twisted version of Tanabata, but the next time it's being held, count me in. Tomonori is also a pretty amusing character - the skills of Miki Onimaru, on top of being a vampire ninja. Though, if the logic of the vampire ninjas hold, Haruna and Sera are now married. I am not opposed to this.

Okay, let me start with the bad part first. As usual, the scene transition is a bit jarring - well, the scenes at least follow each other pretty well, assuming that it's just your average Monday for Ayumu, but the mood keeps on changing from comedy to action to seriousness and all that. Although, I suppose this is one of the things special about this show that sets it apart?

But still, as always it's an enjoyable episode. The greatest laughs for me comes from Haruna this episode:
taking 'from the beginning' literally to the point of explaining string theory,
clinging on windows like spider-man,
'next time brush your teeth before determining someone's sex!',
that whole twisted Tanabatamas with Halloween costumes (I literally have to pause the episode to LOL for minutes),
wishing for the world to become a hard-boiled egg...seriously, she got all the good stuffs.There's even that cute tsundere bit she has that leads to an unfortunate encounter.

Speaking of that, we got Tomonori! (or maybe Yuki, anyone with good grasp of Japanese language mind explaining it to me?) I can't helped but be reminded of Shampoo from Ranma 1/2, with the whole kissing means marriage and ramen delivering thing, just instead of Amazon, she's a vampire ninja. The whole tsundere with the devoted wife kind of dere is charming though, I look forward to see more of her in future episodes.

Also, in the end we still don't know the reason why those ramen soups are able to destroy megalos. From what Sera and Tomonori said, I suspect Sera's faction is the one responsible for attacking them? In any case, it seems the next arc will focus more on vampire ninjas, which is good, we're still too much on the dark about them.

Next ep, Lala sent one of her inventions to Dai-sensei?

I suppose you could consider the bad transitions one of this show's quirks. I'm already used to them and I don't even mind it anymore.

I have to agree Haruna stole this episode. The spiderman scene, her twisted version of Tanabata (what does Santa have to do with that?!) and her wish made me laugh so hard. She wants the world to turn into a hard-boiled egg... I don't even know what to say about that . Sera's wish was exactly what I expected from her, and Yuu's was absolutely adorable <333
I had to pause when they showed up in their halloween costumes as well, to get a closer look at Sera...

Tomonori/Maelstrom/Yuki was very cute, but her personality is a bit too similar to Haruna's (they even joked about it), even her voice sounded similar. I hope she'll set herself apart later on. The wife situation should provide good opportunities for that, it's already completely awakened her dere side.

Ayumu's a regular Solid Snake when it comes to avoiding sunlight. Kind of interesting to see that transforming nullifies his sunlight vulnerability. I guess that's one advantage.~

This is the first episode where I'm starting to see harem-like aspects, thankfully they're downplayed so far but with Maelstrom in the picture that might change...

And seriously, why would Dai-sensei send Ayumu pervert glasses? I s'pose it could end up being more important than we may think though.

Nice little relief episode from the seriousness of the previous one, not a whole lot of plot progression but Maelstrom may prove to be an important character later on.

Ah, I see, I suppose it would be something like that. Are there any other meaning to the name Tomonori (like how her real name, Yuki, can also mean snow), though? Or was she embarrassed solely because it's not her real name?

I guess it was just their attempt to fit in the various storylines from the manga (for some reason, I'm guessing Mael's intro, Tanabatamas, and x-ray glasses doesn't happen right after one another?) but yeah, at this time I'm also getting more used to it.

I suppose mangatron, wherever he is, would absolutely love this twisted festival. If nothing else, the girls have to wear ponytails! He must have loved that. Ponytail is default on Sera, and I'm so-so on Haruna, but it looks very nice on Yuu. Oh, and actually, I agree with Sera, it doesn't look half bad on Ayumu. His hair needs to be a bit longer, though.

He probably wished for Sera, Yuu and Haruna to keep living him. Or perhaps he wished for Yuu to call him "Onii-chan" from on. Yuu looked very cute in her costume indeed, and I loved her bored expression. Obviously, I loved Sera's embarrassed expression as well, I'm very surprised she agreed to wear this costume.

Mangatron (it's a huge shame he's apparently too busy to take part in this thread) immediately came to mind when Haruna mentioned that . I'm sure whoever told her this bullshit had a ponytail fetish. Now, we need someone to tell her they must wear twintails on Christmas.

1. it's the only "conclusive" arcs without rushing some more stuff.
