I consider that a crowning moment of awesome for Mach Calibur myself. When Subaru was seeing stars and Mach Calibur uses Wing Road to kick Ginga and then has Subaru throw a punch I was all "... Damn, Mach Calibur is better at this than Subaru is!"

Very cute artwork. It's a shame the pairing isn't more popular, but when you consider the alternatives it makes sense. Still, that makes actually finding fanart of it even sweeter.
