I unno. At that point, she barely knows any other melee combat skills aside from knifes... but even that she's not so good at it.

After some thoughts....

I realize that it IS possible to have a machine better than IS.....

Provided that nobody (not even the governments) knew about.

Because from Ichika's POV, there is no machine that is better than IS....

Currently Fic spilt into two:

Beyond Stratos: Male side with a new male lead who enjoy trolling his opponent....and probably the only male OC to get "OH CRAP" moment when fighting Canon Characters.....for a good reason. And NO, he is not going to win..... Oh-Crap moment is literally a trip to hell and back.*

Cross-Helix: Female side with Theme: Friendship.

And she found that image blocked by one of their highest security algorithms...

"It's just as you saw, Chi-chan," the mechanical rabbit ears on her head twitched as she raised her head. "I got that photo just a little while ago from Lebanon. Seems that Phantom Task is definitely stirring up more trouble in the Middle East."

Chifuyu stared at her. "...but how could he be..."

"I can't say that it's him, Chi-chan, buuuut, I won't rule it out either."

"You saw the blast zone for yourself Tabane. You said that there wasn't anything left of him...!"

"...IF that was even Ii-kun to begin with..." Tabane turned to another screen, her hands still typing away at her holo keyboard.

"...what...?"

"I mean, they could have just found some random kid in another part of the world and dressed him up to look like Ii-kun and blew him up instead, making everyone think that they had killed Ii-kun and kept him for themselves."

Chifuyu couldn't believe what she was hearing. "Why didn't you tell me this before!?"

Tabane barely glanced at her friend. "He was already 'dead' to you, Chi-chan. And you're smart enough that you could have figured this out a while ago. I don't have stupid people as friends."

Chifuyu lowered her head and Tabane knew that information was swirling around in her brain almost as fast as it did in her own. When Chifuyu lifted her eyes, Tabane could have sworn she saw a light in her friend's eyes that she hadn't seen in...forever.

"How fast can we get to Lebanon?"

Tabane smirked. "How fast do you want to get there?"

**In a hidden facility near the Sryian border**

The cold steel walls were a welcome relief against the heat of the desert sun and the young man gave a sigh. Last night's raid had gone well, so well in fact that even 'she' had congradulated him for a job well done. His partner was especially bouncy after her sortie, having captured an IS unit personally - and a good one too.

*"Maybe I'll give it to you for a present,"* she had smirked at him.

He had known her long enough to pick up on her moods and habits and he could tell that she was actually serious about giving it to him.

Too bad she really didn't have a say in it. She may be an elite pilot
but that wasn't enough to get whatever she wanted...all the time. Oh well, enough thinking about useless things. 'She' told them that they may have one more mission tonight as well and to rest up. Closing his eyes, sleep came to him easily.

"Ne, how long are you going to keep this up?"

"...keep what up?"

"THIS ENTIRE 'THING' you got going on with him! You said that you were going to just let him go but then you decided to keep him. First he was a prisoner and now you've made him one of us!?"

"What? I thought that you could use the company, 'M'."

"HAH! Why would I want to be around him any longer than I have to be!?"

The older woman gave a sigh. "'Raven' has done good work ever since he joined up with us. It's not like us to waste a perfectly good talent in him. After all, he does share her bloodline."

'M's face darkened at the mentioning of 'her' but she repressed herself. "He's a good lab rat too, right," 'M' smirked nastily.

"Yes, so much so that I want to see what he can do with an IS outside of a training enviornment."

If her jaw could have hit the ground, it would have.

"You can't be serious!! 'Raven's a guy!!"

"...a guy who can activate and operate an IS frame, or did you forget how he stepped in and took that incoming shell for you with nothing but a partially assembled frame?"

"..."

She quieted down a lot faster than usual..."In any case, we'll have to let him earn it though. This next sortie we'll be striking at Target # 25. There's something I want him to grab in there."

"...what about 'her'," 'M' spat the name out. "Won't 'she' be coming along once she sees that image you leaked?"

"Oh, of course she will. That's what I'm counting on this time around."

'M's face turned sadistic with glee. "Well, won't this be a happy Orimura reunion."

We do have a few IS Academy students drop by our dojo once in a while as assistant trainers and trainees alike.” “Really now? I’ve not heard of such attachment programs being held.” “They’re mainly second-year students, especially those that lean towards melee combat proficiency skills.” “I see…” “It’s a special attachment program since the dojo’s short on trainers and they have a minimal age requirement for permanent instructors.” “So basically… It’s an issue with manpower?” “More or less. Due to the age restriction, we can’t employ our original assistant trainers.” Cecilia tilts her head slightly upon hearing the remark, looking at Reika with a confused look. “Original… assistant trainers…?” “Yes. They served the dojo years ago. Even at the young age of fourteen, the older trainees still look up to them as worthy instructors.” “If I may ask, what happened to the trainers?” “One disappeared, but he came back recently. As for the other, she resigned after the other’s disappearance.” “That’s rather unfortunate… Then again, those instructors must’ve been really great to be having such positive impact on their students.” “That they are. Spoiler for Sneak Preview: A Girl who born with the ability to foresee the future....with 100% accuracy and her IS is based around that ability. In exchange for absolute Focus (not moving) for x-duration, she can foresee the future for the next x-duration after she open her eyes. In another word: 100% Dodging ability + Accuracy. She is not an Esper/ISper of Meister because she is born with this ability (in To-Aru verse, probably where Meister get the idea from, she is a Gem-stone.). As a joke, nobody believed her. Including the leads (both male and female), who believed in Yeti, aliens, dragons, mutants, evil robots, vampire, werewolf, snake-people, mermaid, unicorn....etc, everything except a person who can see the future. Reason for why nobody believe her is the same as Martian Successor Nadesico: Future don't exist yet, To see something that haven't exist yet is impossible, Therefore, the ability to predict the future is impossible, Since predicting the future is impossible, therefore everything is just a mere coincidence.
