Gundam Pirates Arrested in Tokyo.

Animaxis reports that three people have been arrested in Tokyo for copyright violations related to DVD piracy. According to the report they are believed to have sold illegal MS Gundam DVDs on Yahoo! Making bootlegs of anime. Yeah, I would have to guess that is illegal, but when will these stupid bootleggers learn if you want to get away with it don't include Chinese subtitles. That's like wearing a sign saying: "Look at me! I'm making illegal copies of anime! Please arrest me, for I am far too stupid for the real world!"

Am I the only person that thought a bunch of cosplayers in space pirate costumes got arrested? <.<

Anyways, I'm glad they are getting busted, because I'm tired of seeing all the bootleg junk on Yahoo Japan auctions.

No you are not the only one. I came to this thread in hoping to read up on some juicy article or to click on some pics showing gundam cosplayers that look like pirates getting busted.

Ya know, each time I read this I keep picturing the police arresting a bunch of thugs as they get out of their Gundams after trashing Tokyo or something.
