Orange (Manga)
Author & Artist: Takano Ichigo Genres: Drama, Mystery, Romance, School Life, Seinen, Slice of Life, Supernatural, Tragedy I searched the forums and didn't find a topic for this. The manga recently got a live action announcement and licensed by Seven Seas. There are currently 18 chapters and ongoing at the moment including an update from last week. Anyone else read this before? It has an interesting premise imo involving time travel and shoujo themes with relationship building in particular with the main characters. Artwork is fairly decent and tolerable comedy and interesting characters. Here's the main premise of it: Quote:

If there was one thing I learned from the manga, is that Suwa is the best guy ever.
Such a shame really, I thought they'd be going for Naho still marrying Suwa in this timeline, and Naho finally recognizing who is the person who always was by her side and thus moving on from Kakeru's death in the other timeline. Heck, I'd even settle with just the latter happening if the author was really deadset on giving Kakeru a happy ending in this timeline... but I really don't like the message the story is sending with the other Naho still not being able to forget Kakeru, even 10 years after his death AND having a kid already. Seriously, move on already... (Yeah, don't get me started on how this even got a live action adaptation... >_>) So yeah, I really liked this manga up to the point where it was put on hiatus, but after its continuation I personally thought it went on a steep decline. I'm hoping Re Collection would turn out differently. I mean, like Orange, it had a very interesting premise, but hopefully after it resumes it turns out much better.
