c) kajiura yuki to finally invent a new sound (yes I think her music is awesome, but I could prolly compare this to as far back as noir and not tell the difference)

If we were to consider that perhaps witches are inherently linked to magical girls, and not necessarily in a corrupted form, and that the girls are being somewhat unfairly recruited into a Faustian pact in exchange for their life, it reminds of at least one other series entirely.

I'm not sure what I think of this show after episode 3.. it didn't seem that dark until this episode.. The death was so quick why would someone want to risk that for a wish? It really appears Homura is trying to save them from such a horrible decision.. When your constantly battling it's hard to have friends, job, family, or anything. So choosing to be one is choosing to be loners.

So, everything that staffs, shinbo, urobuchi, Iwakami, Ume, basically everyone said was a LIE. They were even thinking of hiding the name of 'Urobuchi' until the airing. Shaft and Production team still wanted the 'surprise' effect, so they purposefully made contradicting statements.

and look at preorder ranking. It's too good to be true.
