Like it was stated in previous page, this series is hinting a link with author's other work 'SIREN'.
TBH, I read SIREN (just the first volume) but it was quite...dull/boring. I have v2 to v5 waiting to be read on my shelf, but its boring compared to his other works.

Gakusen's first vol. was pretty boring but the latter volumes were pretty good so you never know

.Oh and about the illustrations........ can you at least post pictures of them?I started learning Japanese a week ago and thought that with some basic stuff I could search for some stuff but no,realized that it taked a pretty long time to learn,so no luck with illustrations.....plz...post some pictures....senpai.....

Scrolling down and looking at the character design for the Encore manga.....looks like the manga adaptation wasnt blessed with a beautiful design

And looks like we will finally get an illustration for Elise's true(adult) form.

I just started to read this one, currently reading the first volume, and I already like both the story and the characters.

I really like Ren's determination to move forward despite everything. Is really a pity that people cannot see beyond his appearance. It's ironic that the one that acknowledge him aren't his fellow humans but those girls that aren't humans. Oh yeah, and we cannot forget that little spirit, after all he too acknowledge him.

That Gundam game is probably going to shut down quite soon. I actually stopped playing it 6months ago. Even after spending 3k on it.......damn it.

The enemies that Elline and the girls fought 300 years ago. 2. You can seperate the Spirts that appears in this series into three Categories. i) The general spirits. The ones that assists Ren and the Holy Girl. ii) The artificial spirits which were made by Elkemium Dusk and those three spooky guys mentioned in Zakoo's summary. iii) Lastly, the enemies which were fought three hundred years ago by Elline. 3. The current Demon King Verusalem is a hetare in front of his Elise (his sister) and he cracks you up the whole time. 4. Two more Demon General appears. One of them being a maid. Another one being a retard who can't speak because of the curse. 5. Kyelse and Fear went nuts at Elise about her marriage with Ren if he were to lose in the trial against Elise's brother. Here's some good scene of v5. Spoiler for example 1: Verusalem: Whether or not you are fit to lead my kin. Gathering the seals and heading to the Island of the End will be filled with unpredictable dangers. That would be no different for Elise. I shall personally test you, someone who is seeking for the seal, myself. Ren: ……Fine. I accept. Since you won’t be able to hand me the Demon’s Seal if I can’t win against you. Verusalem: Oh yes. A negotiation with a Demon must involve a price. Since I will be handing you the seal if I were to lose, I shall also make you obey one condition. Ren: A condition? Something like cleaning the Demon King’s castle? ……Anyway, now I can take whatever condition you have. I just need to win. Verusalem: Good answer. Ren: Give me the condition then. Verusalem: Very well. Then--- (he takes a step and says it loudly) Verusalem: If you lose, I shall have you become my sister Elise’s husband! Ren: …………What was that? Verusalem: That’s the condition. Understood? Ren: …..Eh? Wait, huh……? Huh? W-What do you mean……? Verusalem: The one who said that will take any condition I ask this time was you. Ren: I’m telling you stop for a sec! This suddenly went somewhere else…… Verusalem: What I mean is— Even that sister of my who is violent, wild, sharp-tonged, and uses strength to determine matters would surely become quiet if she marries a human such as yourself. It means I no longer need to fear the existence of the former Demon King. Yes, this is my absolute desire! Ren: That’s not what I meant! What’s with this husband thing!? Did you tell this to Elise!? Verusalem: ……She will slaughter me if I did. So I must hide it from my sister for now. Ren: No no, she will be even more furious if she finds it out later…… Verusalem: Even a Demon King has worries! For the peace of the Underworld, I cannot lose! Ren: That’s completely your own greed! Verusalem: Of course it is.

I have to admit that I like(from the little you showed us) Elise’s brother. Just curious but what was Elise reaction on the "marriage"? The reaction of the other two was predictable.

Kyelse: ......What is the meaning of this, Elise? Fear: ......That is something even I cannot simply ignore (They kick the table and approach Elise) Kyelse and Fear: If you dare lay a hand on him...... Elise: Hold on a moment! Wait I say! I didnt hear anything about this either! How come Ren is becoming my husband!? (Elise then says it with a embarrased voice) Elise: Lulu!? Lulu: It's Demon King's decison. Even if you are a former Demon King, you have no authority to decline this decison since you are not the Demon King now. Elise: Ren......will become my husband? ......If that happens...... (Elise starts thinking and turns red) Elise: ......That might not be bad. Kyelse and Fear: Eliseeeeeeeeee!!!! Elise: I'm just kidding!
