I'm trying to find the music that played during the AxS scene at the Saotome home, in ep 22. Thought I'd find it on OST 2, but unless I missed somehow it, nope :x

Can anyone help me ? Thanks in advance.

The track's name is Kira Kira, which is from OST 1. I think the one used in that scene is slightly different from the full track itself. At least it sounds the most similar heh.

Well, after something like this, we can put the whole Fairy/Nymph debate behind us, right?

Or are people still gonna doubt even the official lyrics?

It feels so good to be proved right, beyond the shadow of a doubt...

Unless my ears are failing me, I don't see much similarities between the two :x

But thanks anyway. Guess they just "forgot" about it >_>

Loyal worshippers of Sheryl may consider coming to Singapore for the Anime Festival Asia 08.

Because May'n is coming! -> http://www.afa08.com/mayn.htm

And besides that I'm trying to gather a group of people to help snatch, ahem, I mean find rare items on sale in the 'Akiba Town' section.

I'd love to go. Alas, real life intervenes and I can't. Have fun for me, at least.

Could I bother you to help me get my Nyan Fro OST signed? Just can't get the days off to go to Suntec. Exams, you see.

Just joking. Enjoy her first overseas live!

Edit: Might as well add a question. What's the track that plays when Macross Quarter abandons Frontier in episode 22?

Btw I am trying to play the drum version for Infinity. It is fricking damn hard during the drum instrumental when it suddenly switches out to another rhythm, and the rhythm during the last part of the lyrics has got a quite different cymbal.

There is a possibility that she might be singing the following songs at the convention....

1. Infinity
2. Northern Cross
3. Yousei
4. Diamond Crevasse
5. What 'bout My Star?
6. Iteza Gogo Kyuuji - Don't Be Late!
7. Welcome To My Fanclub's Night!

The first 4 songs are definite, they are her signature songs after all. The other 3 are not as nice IMO. I prefer 1 and 5 with Nakajima Megumi though.

I am not much of a Sheryl fan, but I like Northern Cross and Infinity so I will waste $8 just to hear her sing.

She is smart to come down though. Macross is one of the few anime that has got insanely epic songs (the other being, IMO, TMHS).

P.S I would kill to hear Aimo O.C LIVE.

Be glad you're not addicted to the "dokun dokun" song... because I am. Despite all the hate I had for the girl during the series and the sillyness of the song.

HALP ME

Hey Ranka's songs are great as well lol

In fact my favourite is still Seikan Hikou followed by Ao Ether.

Which is why I'm terribly disappointed when my friend told me that Megumi was supposed to come to Singapore as well but she can't make it. I'm still wishing she can make it and if not provide a surprise by crashing the party singing from a helicopter or something lol

Eh, don't be shy about liking Ranka songs. Hate the character, not the singer. Besides, I love Aimo OG. Its both eerie and epic.

And quite disturbing, if you know the lyrics.

Agreed for the lyrics of Aimo OC.

And I'm not really ashamed to like Ranka's song... I'm ashamed to like Anata no Oto, which sounds really silly, yet is soooooo catchy^^'

It's on when people start noticing the Nu Sheryl. It's quite a nice song, actually.

Talking 2nd Macross Frontier Album Sells 102,000 in 1st Week

This deserves a new post. From ANN:

2nd Macross Frontier Album Sells 102,000 in 1st Week
posted on 2008-10-14 05:48 EDT
1st soundtrack since 1997's End of Evangelion to sell 100,000+ in 1st week

Macross Frontier Original Soundtrack 2: Nyan Tora sold 102,000 copies to rank #2 in the most recent Oricon weekly album sales chart. That makes this CD the first soundtrack since 1997's The End of Evangelion album to sell more than 100,000 copies in its first week in Japan. The first Macross Frontier soundtrack sold 72,000 copies in its first week to rank #3 in June, while The End of Evangelion album sold 165,000 copies to reach #3. All four Macross Frontier CD singles have also debuted in the top 5 of Oricon's weekly singles chart, and three ranked at #3.

Macross Frontier is the recently concluded television sequel to the Macross space opera series. Like the first Macross series, it features a space war, love triangles, three-mode transformable fighters, and pop music. Macross Frontier composer Yoko Kanno also scored the soundtrack for Macross Plus, Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, and Escaflowne. The two Macross Frontier soundtracks are her first Top-10 albums.
