Back to topic, it looks like BD vol 5 will not include short story like previous odd number BD, but the OVA will. I hope for non-haremic story for Houki, as the OVA itself is harem story (●´人｀●)

Uhm, thing is we don't know much about how Yumizuru's doing, nor do we have anything on Vol 7 at the moment.

as for Vol 7, the Black Reaper (not Kazuya from Gosick) is the man to contact on that.

I already post the summary on vol 7, and please find it yourself where it is in the thread whether by following my post log or searching through the post. I waste my time and effort on making a detailed summary, so please spend some effort to look for it yourself instead of having me spoon-fed you with the link.

On Yumizuru, no news on release date of vol 8 in the main web of MF Bunko, so I assume he's either still sulking about his editor or facing a writer's block(well, there's another alternative explanation which is his health not doing well, but I'd rather think that's not the case).

I know from his afterwords (yes, I sometimes read them, despite having denied it in the BT forums) that his health has often been an issue, and that he's pushing back the novel release date.

I agree with kuroshinigami's claim, but I just read it, and it was funny. Considering it was just a short story, it wasn't dissapointing. It should have taken place after volume 3 of the novel.
