Another good video that dissects the ending and the problems with it.It's 39 mins long, so grab something to eat.

No one would mind paying for DLC that explore each alien planet with more detail. But the requirement is that the Ending be altered, as otherwise there is literally no point buying them at all. A Nihilistic ending is all well and good if you deliberately want to kill a franchise, but I am sure Bioware want the opposite of that.
Yeah, in the end Bioware needs to look at this ending situation as an investment. If they screw it up they will lose plenty of people that would have come back for more Mass Effect games/DLC. Don't charge for it, get them back on your side and then get them in for stupid things like rescuing Omega or whatever.

Definitely right now there just isn't any point to replaying or considering whatever other DLC they have in mind. Whatever planets we might go to, they are just as screwed by the ending as everyone else.

Developers in Bioware should really watch this.

It really was well done. Of course Bioware shouldn't have to watch something like that to know how badly they messed things up. But, still I enjoyed watching it.

INterview with the organizer of the RetakeMe3 Cup Cake Campaign, who with the help of the community, sent 402 cupcakes to Bioware's Edmonton studio. They came in three colours but all tasted the same.

BTW, what happens in ME3 if you had let Garrus die in ME2?

Heck, what happens to ME3 if you're the only survivor?

Then you'll only have 4 squadmates.

Kaiden/Ashley
Liara
Edi
James
*Javik if you have the DLC From the Ashes

And you miss out on a lot of story stuff too.

A lot of ME2 squad mates don't get to rejoin anyway, so it has very little effect on ME3's gameplay. In theory it decreases your possible Readiness, but we know it meaning nothing until we find out what the new ending(s) would be.

IIRC, specific events needing specific characters who died are replaced by a different characters so the events can still proceed.

Though less efficiently, at least in Tuchanka's case. Wreave isn't nearly as wise as Wrex. Heck,

Spoiler:

It's the little things.

Which raises a question though... who replaces who in ME3? Wrex is replaced by Wreave, Legion with a Legion VI. But who replaces Tali? Mordin? Thane?

Yeah in most cases it's about efficiency.

Mordin and Wrex are one of the story lines that was done really well. No matter what you do neither one could survive and such.

With Garrus/Tali/Legion/Miranda it doesn't do much. If they died then someone else picks up the story but you get a shorter version (for a lack of a better term) of the story.
