Would the CPU even be able to effectively fight another CPU? If so, would it even look entertaining for any spectators? I mean the CPU when I fight it usually fights in a way in which it knows everything I'm doing(feels that way) save for a few exploits and openings, it's very mechanical. If two CPU's fought each other and both knew what they were doing neither of them would throw any punches, and if two Siesta's fought each other they'd just spam range and never lose...
Right? |

That's very true. Although I do like watching the cpu play the games by themselves like in mario party, dead or alive, left 4 dead, and in mugen. It also kind of helps me get a better idea on how game mechanics work, general strategies for individual characters, and how the ai works.

Since the CPU would do nothing but go for openings, wouldn't that make it worth watching anyway? I know I learnt a lot from watching the CPU use Will in ways that i've never even considered. The only thing the CPU doesn't do is combo properly.
On a side note, maybe Lambda won't come out this month xD

I think it will. Go back to when R07 was saying when Will be out (when he showed his ALT costume) and it was around this date a month ago.
They are working fast enough to release and record all the stuff for each character, so that we devour it and leave the bones. And also we provide the endings so that CrimsonMoon uplaoded them, so it's a perfect circle. |

Has anyone got a translation of that bit in the middle of the video, where it stops for text?

Well, I guess it's safe to assume that Bern will come out sometime in late April/early May now.
Man, I am so hyped for this! From what's seen, Lambda seems like a very much keep away/defensive character... this means Bern will probably be the exact opposite and be rushdown/offensive. |

Aww... just realized that they didn't sneak Bern into Lambda's preview.
In regards to what the text says, I assume it's saying something along the lines that her shield isn't 100% effective as to not make it overpowered... kinda like the old Vergilia spear spam video? Last edited by Terras; 2012-03-21 at 03:38. |

So she can set up candy mines, summon a candy meteor and have some sort of shield to counter projectiles. She seems pretty useful overall.
Now we wait 3 more days and we destroy things with her. Edit: Also, I'm kinda concerned they didn't use the Library stage theme for her PV instead of using Final Answer, since the first one actually fits her perfectly. Edit2: This is the production diary entry that may have some interesting information, if google translator was actually good. Quote:

I guess I could say that she can block attacks with Certainty..? I was expecting something slightly more evil, but that works too.
So, Burn's gonna be out in April and will be the opposite of Lambda...hyper offensive? But with her ability helping almost everyone and her moves being defensive/keep away, she could work well with anyone.

@walterion: from what I got, Bern is not going to be in the next patch which will come out in several days from now on
And Lambda alt color is very cute other than that, I can't make any sense out of the text @Azule: Don't you think Shannon had that covered? |
