Well there is a lot of world building stuff that could be done, plus the newer tank teams. Plus all those other schools.

And if there is an international high school tournament...plus professionals to consider (if only to find out what those are about, not to go do them one after another, since unless they go foward in years of tank production, you can't really have this be a power levels kind of show).

It looks like Vol. 1 of Girls und Panzer has pretty much sold out and they seem to be creating a second print run, making it the most successful show Actas has ever produced. A second season at this point isn't surprising at all, especially since the creators had to trim out a lot of material so far. It's only a matter of time, but I'd expect the announcement to come from a more formal source than a local Ibaraki newspaper - it's obvious that the prefecture is thrilled at all the publicity they're getting.

Hopefully, they'll print enough discs for the next volumes!

Well, if the sales remain strong for the next batch and releases, they will make the 2nd season, as you can easily guess at some of potential stories and angles they could delve into. Still, I think it might be good if the whole production team takes some good time off so they can give a lot more thoughts into the story plot, character development, and world setting while rechecking them very thoroughly for inconsistencies and disagreement with real world facts. ( Note : Things don't have to agree with the worldly reality, but less discrepancies usually, though not always, makes things better and more enjoyable ) If that means not getting my next Panzer fix until 2014, I guess I have to deal with it.

Text in episode 10.5 has extra info.
For example 6:05 has text saying Darjeeling hobby is reading quotes/proverbs.
