Read somewhere that it can take up to half a year for PVCs to come out for a series.

Anyone from the Haruhi/Lucky star camp who can recall how long it took for the first actual PVC's to come out since those shows started?

Yea none that I've heard of so far...Not even a Mio fan, but just from an artistic appreciation angle I really want one of her in that ED outfit...

Will be waiting for figures.

I think the Mio ones will sold out fast. So pre-order them quickly. Hoping there are poseable ones either Figma or Revoltech Fraulein would make them. But my guess is Figma since they've done already Haruhi and Lucky Star.

Anyone have any idea what Mio's camera is? the boxy flash and its overall size / shape reminds me of the Leica Dluxes but the currently available models doesnt look like what she has. The flash is closest to the black flashes for the minilux models. The current Dlux flashes are more symmetrical

That's going to be true If Mio PVC is designed the way she is in ED or something very stylish like. In her normal uniform, she's bleh comparing to Tsumugi and Yui~

About when figures will be released, it depends on how fast the studio can get figure companies to make figures.

Like the case of Sora wo Kakeru Shoujo, Sunrise got Goodsmile company to come up with figures even before the show aired. The show has aired for 4 months and the figures are only releasing in July, 3 more months.

Kyoani isn't quick to get to figure companies, Haruhi took more than a year to release the first Mikuru figure. Kanon, LS and Clannad had their figures released or released pretty slow as well.

But one thing about Kyoani's super successful series is that they will have countless figures, Haruhi will never finish releasing figures, LS will still be releasing for some time.

Oh I forgot about gashapon lol

They are usually the very first wave of figures and can be quickly released in 2 or so months.

I'll be waiting for poseable figures. 100% sure the ending song what the girls are wearing will be the scaled static figures. Since that is wear the detail is. Cast Off feature is a must! lolz

Hmmm K-On should be pretty successful, seeing the initial reactions of the audience.

The ED costumes would most likely get Maxfactory'd or Goodsmile'd.

I'll be waiting especially for Figma and Nendoroid though.

I also hope the K-On girls get the figma treatment but am wary of how none of the Key products made it in that line. Not that K-on is a key product but I just find it weird that some series get licensed while others don't.

Perhaps it's because if you change the hair colour of characters in one Key series, you get the characters of any other Key series?
Oh, wait, they could have made tons of cash off that because they could've used the same moulds.

I'm just kidding, but to tell the truth, the characters in Key series look pretty ordinary compared to some of the figmas I've seen...

Duuuude, shop around - you'd be surprised.

Also, for gashapon, I loathe blind boxes (7 Alice Carrol's, lol) so I usually wait until some dude is out there selling the set.
