Actually this scene was included in the movie, but it was only alluded to, so I guess the novel expanded it. Remember after Alto finishes his phonecall to Ranka? Michel reminds him about the Galatic fairy wanted things done her way or something. And there's a quick flash of Sheryl shouting at someone (seems to be Alto?). It explains rather well why she picked on him later on the flight. They met earlier for the rehearsal.

The chinese text was a bit too "graphic" but migth not be a precise translation, who knows?
And the complete scene was never posted here, just a couple of the final paragraphs, so I was too curious about.
Still hoping for someone to make the full translation

*shrugs* Dunno how accurate the chinese translation is, but judging from the few paragraphs on the last 2 pages I managed to decipher with my meager japanese, it's pretty much about there. Only thing missing from the chinese text is the cut to Ranka.

I want to read the light novels, and yet, I don't want to as well... (>_<)

Well, they did kiss in the TV series scene too, so they probably think all the details would "help" with our imaginations.

It's so amusing to see the novels going out of the way to point out that it's more than just an Alto x Sheryl spit-swapping moment.

The Chinese text is accurate, or should I say, more accurate than any English translation that will come about regarding the novel (for obvious reasons).

Of course, there are some extra comments, such as the one about Ranka. Chinese nickname for Ranka in general just isn't very nice...

@Cheesie: I bought only one volume of the novel, its not hard to guess which one is it. Not sure if I'd want to buy any other ones

lol, if you check on my old old post posted here long time ago, I already translated these paragraphs from the jap one. funny how nobody haven't translate all the novels since that time.

"Sheryl!" "Al...to..." Upon seeing his face, Sheryl gives a sigh of relief, and like a doll with its strings cut, collapses towards the ground. Rushing forward, Alto catches her frail body in his arms. (She's become so thin.) Arms that feel as if they would break at the lightest touch. Pale translucent skin. Eyes blurry with tears from the fever, it is heartbreaking. Without any reservation, he opens his mouth. "It's Alto. Open the gate." Not saying "I'm home" is his last small stubborness. ＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝ "If you sing... I'll be with you till the end!" "A...lto..." His knees coming to rest between her thighs. With gentle fingers, he wipes away Sheryl's tears，her trembling chin drawing a star-lit Alto's attention. Sheryl closes her eyes, and Alto covers her lips with his own, sucking. <Uhm, yeah, it says he sucks her lips here...> A long breath-taking exchange, sweet saliva... <okay, that's just weird> "Alto...give me courage... the courage to keep on singing..." Hearing a lullaby. Feeling these emotions, Sheryl naturally gives her body over into Alto's warmth. Afterwards（= =）…… Upon awakening, Alto's first thought is..."Thank goodness it was a kimono." Worried about his ability to take it off, if Sheryl had been wearing western clothes，as well as unbuttoning the buttons. Thankful for his formal training as a child on how to remove the kimono.(Alto's probably worn a lady's kimono more often than Sheryl) "Mmm..." an unexpectedly awake Sheryl, brushed her curled fingers softly against Alto's face,"Alto, what are you thinking of?" (Aah ~~it's not anything do with the Ranka's hopeless situation anyway...) "Ah, nothing, I... wasn't weird was I?" "Id-...Idiot!" Sheryl slapped Alto. "There's no one to compare to, so how would I know! You idiot idiot idiot!" "Sor, sorry..." "I'm going to punish you... You have to stay beside me tonight as punishment." Sheryl resting her pale back into Alto's chest. Alto slowly embraced her shoulders. In the end, the feeling of becoming a man still feels unreal.
