I know it worked. It was said that Samael's curse affected dragons and snake. Why do you think I keep saying related? Just saying they are not the same species. Like devils and youkai aren't the same despite the power of light and holy power being super-effective against them both.

I originally intended that comment as saying that the prospect of fighting the alliance would be enticing for Balberith, but you do make sense. Ise is very much a magnet for battle maniacs. He's just about the only one with that quality. And battle maniacs seem to rubbing off on Ise and vice versa.

"Just" a Queen. Only the highest value without taking into account a combination of 2 Rooks.

I can see his Rook and Knight being descendents of Beelzebub and Asmodeus. Him having descendents of the original 4 Maous would be cool

Not really. One descendant is enough. And it works due to her being the descendant of Leviathan. With Leviathan sometimes being viewed as a sea serpent and also the Leviathans we've seen being powerful beauties(Katarea and Serafall).

But I can see his rook being someone from Hindu mythology like a Yaksha or Rakshasi.

I actually had an idea of Ingvild's BxB being a water dragon/Leviathan which she can hide in and control which enhances her water control abilites and allows her to buff her allies.
