Well for the Koala Forest Academy there would probably be the AC I, III, and IV. Some variants of the Matilda II, and possibly the M3 Grant. The Best possible tank for them being the Centurion Mk 5, which would also be the best possibility for St. Gloriana and BC Freedom.
Maginot Girls mainstay would probably be the Somua S35 and the Hotchkiss variants. Or they may have a real mix including the B1 Bis, AMC 35, and various Renaults. If they're lucky they might have an ARL 44 and AMX 13 to give a little firepower. As for BC Freedom, undoubtedly two or three Rams. Not necessarily of the same Mk since there are two configurations and two different hulls. A Valentine Mk VI. Maybe a Grizzly or two. And I'd hazard a guess towards the possibilities of the Churchill Mk I, and either the M3 or M5 Stuarts. Not sure if they'd have M10s or M4A2s with different suspensions and the 76mm. My guess is they all use various nationalities' vehicles to some extent. What I really wonder is how they manage to minimize the risk of injury to their crews. And also why it's an exclusively female martial art. |

Looks like we'll be getting a glimpse of Episode 11 early, according to here. Supposedly, the Girls Und Panzer Carnival on January 27 will show short clips from 11 alongside a showing of episodes 1-10, so the wait will be easier.

The two main ones I can think of are Kyūdō and Naginatajutsu. Neither are meant to be feminine as such, but men just dropped out over the centuries because for one reason or another, there are more masculine alternatives. And the higher the ratio of women participate in them, the more socially feminine it got.

Because, Finnish winter war called as 「継続戦争」in Japan. School No.16 is written in Japanese term as「継続高校」. That's why.
Then, Why Finland chosen? Because, both Finland and Japan fight defensive war against Gigantic Russia(Soviet) and succeed once (but too sad to say, not at last.....), many military otaku had some sympathy on Finland. And GOOD NEWS!! Dacia Sa*ahem* I don't know why, but this list drops マズルカ学園(Mazurek HighSchool)from entry. Don't worry. Last edited by florallia; 2013-01-12 at 09:30. Reason: add some term |

Kyudo is still practiced pretty much equally, except that due to the popularity of kendo pulling in the boys, in pure numerical standards it may appear that the girls are the majority. Naginatajutsu became "feminine" because it was the prime weapon of the onna-bugeisha due to the advance of history. The use of firearms meant there was not as much of a need for the naginata as before (with the yari, the spear, becoming more important), and this led to the use of the naginata as both a symbol of the social status of women of the samurai class and for actual use in home defense. |

I think more than a few of us tried World of Tanks because of the show. Can't say I'm too surprised, as I'm guilty as well, though only the most hardcore try for the tiers higher than V (where you see the iconics like the Sherman, the Panzer IV, and the T-34).
