Welcome to the weekly manga chapter discussion thread. This thread is created early to discuss spoilers and speculation about the upcoming chapter as well as discussion of said chapter once it has been released.

As per the forums rules, please don't ask for or mention about where to download the (licensed) manga. Also remember not to post or link to any translations of the manga, since this is illegal as well. Posting a synopses or summary is fine (and welcome) but please do not discuss scans, raws, translation groups, etc. Additionally, if you are posting another's synopsis (or their translation of a synopsis), then please provide credit were credit is due.

Remember that the manga is licensed, do not post significant parts of the chapter. This stands for pictures and direct translations. Summaries are OK, crops of pictures are OK as well if you want to illustrate your point but this is it.

At least now we have solid confirmation that Sakura is the mother. Though that becomes a little hard to believe when Sasuke doesn't seem to want to go in for a kiss. At least we also got to see what Kabuto is up to now.

well he did spend the night at home...so maybe baby number 2???maybe it was awks cause sarada was there

edit: plus he did smirk after sakura leaning in for a kiss after he walls away. btw wasnt hinata supposed to have a third kid in this mini series?? makes me wonder if those interviews were translated properly...or made up...

Sakura's still overly desperate for Sasuke, guess some things never change.
Speaking of, Sasuke's still a dick towards Sakura. Come on, at least poke your wife's forehead too.
Karin warming up to Sakura makes a lot of sense, Sakura did save her life.

Shame we saw absolutely nothing of Hinata though. Now here's hoping for a more long term sequel.

I wonder now if all the people who got so high strung about Sarada's parentage feel really really silly......

Still I enjoyed the mini series being able to get to know Sarada as a character and it was nice to see her get some closure.

So...anyone noticed Boruto in this chapter?

Sarada is striving to become the Hokage while Boruto is like "What Hokage? He's just a shitty dad!!"

I swear I don't find Boruto's daddy issue amusing at all, especially when you compare him to Sarada - she had legit reasons to be upset about, and had the clear mind to calm down and let go of her "anger"

And so Kishi's masturbatory Uchiha arc has finished, he just couldn't end it unless it had something to do with Sasuke could he? Pretty sure he could have added thid to the Sakura LN many here keep mentioning.

The only thing I can say is about this whole ordeal is
"and?"
Not in a "and that's it?" but a "and what was the point?"

It still hasn't changed my opinion of both Sakura and Sasuke in the long-run. Sakura is still a shallow person who "married" the man who belittled her at any chance and became a traitor. Sasuke's actions towards Sarada. The asshole can send messenger hawks to naruto, but can't send a single birthday card or pay child support to Sarada and Sakura. Once again Sasuke is going to the convince store to get some cigarettes

I feel that Naruto himself is now ashamed of his own past and trying to forget it.

Well been saying it since the very beginning that Sakura is the mom. People should've known that it wasn't Karen, and Kishi was just trolling, it was too predictable.
