Since it has been a while I better ask here. It's about the Loki/Caprico fight. As Zoldeo got to know that Lucy was the original master of Caprico, just without the key, he almost shat himself, because (I think, maybe I am already wrong here) with this bond she could somehow cut the connection between him and Caprico. But why did he took over Loki then? He was already a stellar spirit in Lucy's possession, wouldn't she have the control over him, since she has the Loki key?

Wonder if Porlyusica has anything got to do with Grandine. She is a healer and Grandine as teacher of Wendy has the power to heal and not to mention Porlyusica and Grandine has the same voice actress. Is that coincidence?

I remember reading up to this part or somewhere around here (has the anime caught up yet?) -->

Something along the lines of finding out that the bartender girl used to be super strong but she stopped because she hurt her brother or something like that...there was also some fight with some biggg huge (spider or monster, i think it was moving) legged thing that was moving...i really don't remember anymore haha

The anime has covered up to the end of ch 169 (ep 78 and ch 169 ended in the same spot ). The manga itself is up to ch 232.

The point you bring up was sadly covered in many parts of the series.

First off... It was a monster... kinda (actually her brother, Elfman, whom lost control of the moster when attempting a "takeover". A move which he used in desperation after his Mirajane (the "bartender girl") failed to beat it. Thus both feel responsible for the death of there little sister, Lisanna). The details where pieced together over the length of the series though the big 2 are...

In both the anime had more content about this than the manga which had minimal info... aka filler. I'm only going to list the manga details so that way you'll have something to look forward to when/if you pick it up again. The anime is very good at picking up on plot elements that could have been made even better and/or left out of the manga in most cases

Spoiler for ~ch 55 / ep 24:

First off Mirajane's being a former S-class was mentioned a ch or two before this but the reveal of why she lost her powers was mentioned here.

The Phantom Lord is attacking Fairy Tail with his walking castle and his minions (the Element 4) are holding of FT members from infiltrating the base). Mirajane is picked up by one of it's arms and is about to be squeezed to death... Elfman is being beaten to a pulp by the Earth element user of the Element 4 and is blasted through a wall and see his sister's fate outside. Seeing this he gains a huge power up (previously due to the trauma of his younger sister's death he could only use "beast takeover" one a single arm but here he does it to his entire body beats the crap out of the guy who he was fighting and charges to Mirajane... She's not sure if he's lucid or has lost his mind to the beast again. Though in this case he's lucid and just saved the day... they have a tearful moment together and recall a promise to leave each day to the fullest in memory of there lost sister.

FYI: This arc started on ch 47 and ep 21 if you want to start at the arcs beginning

Spoiler for ch 117 / ep 45:

Anyways... Mirajane believes her brother is about to be killed by a fellow Fairy Tail member whom is betraying the guild to make Laxus the new master and as he's about to deliever that blow Mirajane has a flashback of her sister (but more just flashes of her). She looses all control and releases all her magic and launches an attack at the person she believes is about to kill her brother Elfman. BTW that scene was epic!

FYI: This arc started on ep 42 and ch 105 (that scene was cut from the anime if I recall though) if you want to start at the arcs beginning

I'm thinking of starting this anime since there are a lot of episodes released by now. Are there a lot of filler episodes or does the anime follow the manga quite faithfully?

There's only just about 10/11 filler episodes in total, as it is very faithful to the manga.

I'd watch ep 19 though... and 50. They absolutly lol skip the others... overall I found them far weaker

One of Fairy Tail's strongest points is comedy, and fillers don't fail in that department (except the one mini-arc, but that's my personal opinion on the matter).
