This didn't have a thread until now? It was my pick for the season, to be honest (at least among new shows). It just looks so adorable. I'm getting a weird mix of vibes: the base seems a mix of Kamichu and Tamayura, and the style's got a hint of Ghibli in it. I'm looking forward to this one.

Yeah, I couldn't find one. But agreed, looks really cute and totally up my alley.

Delightful episode with some nice world building and a mystery in the mix. Yeah, I'm here for the long haul.

The most fantastical about the premise is that a Japanese rural village has so many kids.

this was pretty good, not only was nice and fluffy but it has that mystery about it at the end with the snake and the dark mist.

the only thing I didn't like was jiro's beak, looks more like a big nose... it looks weird.

I really really liked this one. There's that dark tinge to it with the mysterious Void, but it has that whole kind of magical realism and niceness too. Who can't love a cat in a hat that's trying to find its way in the world now it's become a Nekomata? Jiro and his t-shirts. The spectral horse that becomes a cucumber on sticks as in the Obon story.
It's all just absolutely delightful!

Non Non Biyori meets GeGeGe no Kitaro, but told at the pacing of Flying Witch. Not sure yet if that combination works for me, but I'll give it at least one more shot.

It originally began serialization online via Twitter in August 2017

found this bit about it interesting, pretty uncommon place to spring from.

The softness and light music reminds me of Natsume Book of Friends.

Jiisan Baasan Wakagaeru also originated as some Twitter or something comic. They are really digging around for stuff to animate

I honestly, wasn't expecting the snake storyline to be resolved so quickly. I guess it goes to show that while there's an air of darkness to this world it's never going to wallow in it.

man... this world is so fascinating, there is so much lore behind but it's kept as a slice of life anime with some info here and there.

dragon gods, demon lords and all the yokai, now science?, loving it.

I was in the impression mu-chan was the prontagonist with jiro but bucchio is there with them too.

I absolutely lost it at Wagen-kun. I mean, what happens if he's going along as a car with his driver inside, and then transforms? Are the occupants ejected or what? And his reason for being at the driving school is just genius.

I love this show so much.

Yeah, that made me ROFL. A literal self-driving car. And the kicker was that because he's a VW he had to become a Japanese citizen before he could get a license to drive himself.

are you kidding me!?, parallel worlds too!?, this anime is too much.

now I'm thinking that mu-chan father in the current world is in a typical isekai anime saving the world as a hero or better yet, the one we saw is the real deal and made a life there.

if only yuripee stayed longer, but I guess it's better to solve it quickly.

this anime it's soooo goood.
