Just finished How Firm a Foundation, the new Safehold book by David Weber. I was quite impressed by all that happened. Though some of the content was a little depressing for me(characters I liked that died

I recently completed a book by Leslie Woodsdavis titled Rune Logic.

The book was excellent, and reminded me of the old Zardoz movie.
If you enjoy Cranial Science Fiction you'll enjoy this book.

Currently I'm reading Tobias Cabral's Night Music

It's Hard SF also, but maybe a bit too brainy for some people's tastes.
I like it, but then again I'm a total SF Nerd.

Finished the Eureka Seven manga series (which differs from the anime in a number of ways), haven't got to reading my previously mentioned Halo Cryptum, honestly I think I'm going to wait for the sequels to come out since it's a 3 parter. I guess my next novel sized reading material is to arrive in the mail soon in a few days (the last Twilight book

along with Halo Glasslands). As for manga I believe I'll go with Samurai Champloo.

Not reading material but I'm down to the last 3 episodes of Dragon Ball, after which I believe I'll watch the Eureka Seven anime and movie.

Bolding is fun

Finally started on Mary's Stewart's Merlin Trilogy. Been meaning to read this ever since I skimmed a few pages 10 years ago.

The Last Days of Pompeii by Edward Bulwer-Lytton -- an old Roman-era soap opera set just before Vesuvius blows its top, with love triangles, intrigue, religious tensions, and, of course, gladiators. The author makes use of discoveries made at Pompeii in the story and attempts to recreate the decadent lives of the wealthy at the time. Quite a good read, though heavy in the use of "thee's" and "thou's."

Read my first comic book... Batman: Red Rain. I actually really liked it, I loooove dark stuff! The art was interesting and I'd never heard of a Batman story like this before. Now onto the rest of the Batman Vampire trilogy, although after skimming through Crimson Mist I'd say I'll probably like it less..

I caved last week also and read my first one, the new Wonder Woman. Well, I used that comixology place to buy it online anyway. I enjoyed it quite a bit more than I thought I would.

Fiasco: The American Military Adventure in Iraq by Thomas E Ricks. I've only just started it, but my word I'm quite amazed at the sheer volume of warnings that Bush and other key figures got about every aspect of the Iraq invasion before going in, all of which completely ignored. Jason Burke wasn't kidding when he said intelligence assessments can be quite crap...

Library finally got around to sending me my reserved copy of Snuff. I have to admit I love the Vimes' Discworld stories the most. He's definitely come a long way from his Guards!Guards! self.

Sadly, I haven't been reading much in the last few years. The last book I've fully read was Hamlet for english class which was a few years ago. Any suggestions for a good book to read?

finished Atlas Shrugged, so many lessons to be Learned.

Reading Artemis Fowl. finished first four books in as many days. Halfway through The Lost Colony. very good so far. the whole series has been an enjoyable read. can't put it down.

recently finished the manga series NG Life (a favorite, Mizuho Kusanagi), and the 4th volume of Sakura Hime Kaiden (Arina Tanemura).
Novels: Destined by PC Cast (House of Night), waiting for Inheritance (Christopher Paolini) which should come today

For a taste of Nonfiction, The Pit Bull Placebo, a book about the history, truths, and myths about banned breeds and canine aggression.
