Can someone remind me why Nepgear can't go Mk.II anymore?

Nepgear seems stronger than everyone else.

In Victory it was most likely because she was in another dimension and the rules of Cpu's didn't allow her to. In the new game it is an alternate universe so the events of Mk II and victory never occurred.

I don't think there's ever been a mention in-story about why Nepgear doesn't use the Lilac mk2 processor units during Victory and Victory II. I would put it down to gameplay reasons (since you don't see the other CPUs use their stronger processor units from the get go).
I also don't think it's quite right to say that Victory II is set in a timeline where mk2 and Victory never occurred considering that...

Spoiler for Victory II - Zero Dimension:

Adult Neptune heavily implies that she's from the Ultradimension and knows about Plutia being a goddess, which Nepgear seems to acknowledge.
Arfoire also uses her two other forms in the game, which Nepgear again seems to recognise.

In Victory II, you can get the Lilac mk2 set during Neptune's route in the second part of the game, once you hit a certain investment level in public relations (which requires a ton of credits).

Briefly!

• Victory II got a patch not too long ago that fixes the game's freezing issue when the PS4 comes out of rest mode and the crashing issue when battling a certain enemy, plus some other minor tweaks.
• Following on from last week's reveal of Million Arthur-chan, the next Victory II collab character is set to be revealed in next Thursday's issue of Dengeki PlayStation.
• The Japanese PSN Store will have a demo of Victory II next week, plus some Victory II PS Vita themes.
• More DLC is also set to hit, most notably the first Level Cap increase and Uzume's Dengeki-flavoured outfit hitting next week, a Famitsu-themed weapon for Neptune and DLC weapons the week after, and PSN avatars on June 9.
• Hyperdimension Neptunia U: Action Unleashed on PS Vita is now out in NA, with EU also releasing very soon (EU digital coming next week). In case you missed it, the NA/EU limited editions contained a Soundtrack CD and a rather bland body pillow of Purple Heart. Like Re;Birth2's Vita limited edition, it's quite different from the JP limited edition, which had two drama CDs.

Oh is that so, guess that means they just won't show plutia and the others even though they probably can go between worlds. Probably a good thing. Still possibility of seeing Plutia dose exist.

You know I just thought of something. Older Neptune can become a Cpu in ultra dimension if they gave her a cpu memory, that would be a funny scene. Neptune suggesting they go to Ultradimension and find a Cpu memory for her, Plutia saying she has her own Neptune now and so on.

Spoiler for Zero Dimension story still gives me goosebumps.:

Im going to watch other Dimensions story later.
So im aware up to Uzume saved her world with help of her friends.
Beyond that, im not going to let myself spoiled just yet.

When the more than one Dark Goddesses appeared in high quality graphics and Uzume just despaired on top of the building at that time.
Quite unlike her to voice out for help.
One of the strange parts.

The reason that Neptune and Nepgear ended up in the Zero Dimension in the first place.
The game console Neptune picked up.
Uzume's voice in the machine did not sounded like usual Uzume I have known so far.

When Nepgear was investigating the mysteries of the Zero Dimension, who was that Uzume calling her own world a "prison" and wanting to escape from it?

As of this stage, all of Uzume's memories still has not been restored yet.
Who knows what other secrets Uzume has.

This is a second time I felt goosebumps in this series when the first time was that Conquer ending.
The second one is more than welcome.
But one big difference is that its excitement is tied to other dimensions I wonder.
Quite darker than previous ones.

Orange Heart maybe the more dangerous existence than Iris Heart, in my opinion.

Im looking forward after Zero Dimension story.

Right now im more interested in Uzume than Adult Neptune or Iris Heart.

THere is also the frightening possibility that ORange hearts friends became the dark goddess after saving the world? EIther that or they are dead.

However Zero dimension a prison... curious on the back story of that.

How should I know?
I only watched Noire's story.
There is Neptune, Blanc and Vert story needs to be watched.

K Sha is not that important to me as of now.

Im still speculating if Uzume has to do something to do with this, somehow.
The unknown voice, working with the big boss robot looking.....

Noire story alone makes me cry sometimes.
I don't know, it is overly touching, too touching.

But then, im thinking back about the source that destroyed Zero Dimension in the beginning.
Dark Goddess is nowhere in Noire story.
Still, that black fire that influenced K Sha, Croire did that too?
I just don't know.

Again this whole new series itself is quite lot darker than I thought.
Even though it is maybe nothing, but mysteries unlocked little by little, I cannot help but to be hooked.

These new characters are just too great.
Uzume, Steamax, Something Shogun(?), and all the Gold Thirds.

It is no surprising if there's going to be an online game based on this series.

Im sure some people heard about Blanc's spinoff game other than Noire's.
I forgot Blanc spinoff game title though, something about Zombie Army.
There's a possibility that Uzume might appear in that series too.

So what do you people think of Uzume so far?
In my opinion, I like her better than Pururut.

Dengekiko news time!

Here's a first peek at Blanc's game! It looks as though the game's limited edition will include a 21 track soundtrack CD and a Drama CD, and it looks like there will also be a collab with Makai Trillion as well.
As guessed correctly by cloud04, the next collab character for Victory II will be God Eater-chan! (No preview of her design is up yet, however...)
Some spoilers ahead for the end of Victory II's second arc. This issue does also go through the idea chips needed to create the best (and worst) game discs.

Hot off the heels of Neptunia U, Idea Factory International have announced that Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth3: V Generation (PS Vita) will be released on June 30 (NA) and July 3 (EU). Most notably, the NA/EU limited edition contains the Purple Heart Graphig Papercraft figure that was previously included in the JP limited edition.
Pre-orders start Friday June 6.

For the main plot, I wonder what comes after this?
First and second game introduced the goddess and the canidates.
Third and fourth game introduced the goddess from the different dimension.
The fifth one should be something different, doesn't it?

Isn't Peashy CPU of PC? her name even sounds like PC only with She instead of Cee plus I assume its why she's graphically (ie;boobs) bigger and more powerful than the other CPUs since PC gaming is always heralded as more powerful than console gaming.

I wish we could get more character references outside of scout chirpers of other franchises for these consoles, and not just cuz I wanna see Touhou-chan xp they can even call her Alice Shanghai.

With people having had a chance to play VII now, anybody have a wishful V.A to play Uzume in the potential dub?

No. She's the PC Engine or also known as TurboGrafx-16.
