Xinge Ke's suit screams Tallgeese from Gundam Wing? I think..?

Talgese is a mech from Gundam Wing thats very powerful but also has the same effects as the shen hu (kills the pilots)

Talgese was a mobile suit from gundam wing that so powerful it was on par preformance wise with the over powered Gundam. However, the thrust was so powerful it would force tons of G on the pilot making him spit up blood etc.

IE its a powerful machine but at 100% it the costs the pilot's life

I guess you could say it's forshadowing Li's death considering he knows he doesn't have lots of time left and during this ep it was only at 40%

Well, that is progress for her at the very least, though I don't doubt she would drop Kallen in a second if it was for the contract. I suppose the sound episodes will go more into this. I don't think Kallen returns her feelings of friendship though.

A mech from Gundam Wing. The Gs on it were so strong that few could pilot it. It seems that Li's problems comr from illness, though I do not doubt that the Shen Hu is probably making things worse.

I think Strettger meant Tallgeese.

they're not that alike at all though. Only thing that's Gundam Wing-y about it is the crystal in the chest, which is fairly Wing Gundam/Zero (though hey, Hikaru Midorikawa and all, so why not?)

If that was 40% though, I wonder what 100% would do. I suppose that will only happen if Li is near the end of his life and decides to just give it his all.

Okay, as explained about the Talgese.
It was eventualy stripped down as the original deamed overkill and uneconomical, the result the mass produced Leos of Gundam Wing. The Talgese desighn was refined and eventualy became the Gundams.

Ie where are all the 6th generation Knightmares?

And as Xingke pointed out, it's only at 40%, and is already at par with Guren.

On a sidenote, have anyone notice it is weird that, Despite making Xingke, Gekka, Akatsuki, Guren and etc, Indian doesn't seems to have provided any realy knightmare for the Chinese army? Yes, I know it is only a federation (making CF even more loose-knit then we thought), but even this is ridiculous

The 6th generation is defined by employing new technologies that were unready for deployment. Anything new on the field is 7th generation, or the unlabeled 6.5th/experimental generation (like Gawain)

If Lis frame is experimental, and killing him as he pilots it, it could be deamed unready for deployment couldn't it?

I read the back story as well, at the time I noted it as a plot point for usage in the future.

At least Toudou knows how to get it done, edges out Suzaku and battles evenly with Xing-ke. If only Kallen could use her head sometimes like Toudou instead of acting like a female Domon Kasshu, she even has his headband.

The Kallen fanboy in me is screaming that Kallen won that fight and was cheated out of her victory because the Gurren ran out of power at the end.

And theres nothing wrong with Domon Kasshu, anyone who can say the lines to and use the Sekiha Love Love Tenkyoken with a straight face is just pure win in my book.
