Never heard of it, but at least it's not a cookie-cutter isekai or cute girls show. That alone makes it interesting in the current climate.

This one all depends on the staff and cast.

The original manga is a favorite of mine--albeit a rather problematic one--but it needs to be in the hands of staff that cares about shoujo manga in general and this series in particular. Considering that's still a rarity these days, I'm taking a wait and see approach.

Well...that's a thing. Not remotely sure what to make of it.

Apparently Rose King's a shoujo-themed loose adaptation of "Shakespearean plays Richard III and Henry VI, Part 3 (and) follows the character of Richard III during the tumultuous Wars of the Roses (14551487) period in English history."

The mangaka for Rose King, Kanno Aya, was quite well-known for her previous manga series Otomen.

Oddly enough Otomen never got an anime, but it did get a live-action drama in 2009.

Not suitable for this material, even ignoring the other issues.

Having looked into it, I pray they use the drama CD cast, if only to give Saiga Mitsuki work. (Her being perfect to play Richard III is just icing on that cake.)
