Shoko could have a very strong effect on L-Elf. Seeing as she seems to have that same naivety and kindness as 'Light'

Well they are so vastly different in personalities and L-Elf has shown so far that when it comes to Shoko he's constantly confused or she usually gets her way despite his protests.

The second guy I'm replying to knows. I'm a fan of HarutoXShouko pairing and I personally do not want this scene to happen, though I didn't mind HarutoXShouko confession scenes. I'm so used to the MCXFirst heroine pairings since my first exposition to the anime world to the point I can always ship such OTP from the beginning most of the times. As long as Shouko's heart still belongs on Haruto while L-Elf shouldn't do anything romantic or sexual to her (even if he had feelings that Shouko looks like Liselotte in terms of naivety and innocence), I will never mind the friendship between them.

I just don't get why is Shouko so associated with death flags ever since episode one and there's even some who wanted her dead, I didn't consider the fact that she get into the car without worry as "big deal" (in spite of the beam closely hitting her) and yet it causes Haruto to go berserk all over himself.

So far from what we see, L-Elf can dispose Shoko if she did anything that will hinder his plan. I was expecting her to cry in L-Elf's arm though, I was sure disappointed...

I doubt that was to kill her, it was all part of the climax. L-Elf seemed disturbed by the cries of her and also the two seemed pretty quiet together

I call it a bluff,. L-Elf would never kill Shoko as that would turn Haruto completely against him no matter the reason for doing so. At most he would knock her out if threats didn't work.

How is it a bluff when Shoko didn't even know that he was pointing a gun at her head? He didn't warn her. He didn't threaten her. He wasn't trying to change her mind. It's just that if she did do something stupid, he would've killed her.

I think that he was serious. I'm sure that a leader that would give up the Valvraves to the enemy and destroy the module in the process is a leader that is useless to him.

L-Elf can use a punch to knock her out, so why did he pull out a gun?

L-Elf could kill her with a single finger if he wanted. No way he would actually go through with killing her because he knows how important she is to Haruto. Killing her would completely destroy any plans he has with Haruto and the module as they wouldn't be all too happy that L-Elf murdered their Prime Minister.

Quite frankly he literally gains nothing from hurting Shoko while he loses everything he has worked for thus far if he did. Thus a bluff and L-Elf isn't an idiot.
