What about it? It's pretty good. I mean, sure, the basic ingredient may worry some people, but the finished product's fine.

When it comes to British food... Well, nothing wrong with Mars bars, or with deep frying, but who the hell puts the two together?

Uggh, that's almost like a slow working suicide pill. My arteries would be screaming.

And some more disgusting food news. A record breaking one ton Cheeseburger:

The picture does it justice, yuk.

I know, I was pointing it out.

There is a faire somewhere in the Southern San Francisco Bay Area that has a deep drying contest to see what people can come up with and what works and what doesn't. I've never been but hear stories of basically anything being fried. I think it was Fried Peanut Butter Cups that were the hit last time.

Gilroy, of course. I use to pass through there on the way to visit my grandmother. My father use to stop at the winery before it changed hands.

British food isn't disgusting, it's stale, simple, and crappy.

Disgusting is like, eating monkey brains and half hatched eggs. Ew.
Oh, and our very own rotten slimey beans.

I thought Monkey brain soup used to be a Chinese cuisine.

I don't know who eats it, its disgusting.

I have a feeling you misread that quote, the "we" part only applies to slimey rotten beans. (nattou)

Chinese Emperors. It is supposed to be part of an imperial feast.

As for nattou, I don't see anything wrong with eating it or throwing it at someone else you don't like

He died in the attack and was so severely dismembered (including both arms) that the investigators could only identify him by the passport he was carrying. (Conspiracy theory incoming...)

Yeah, I can't say that fermented beans sound all that bad compared to the more exotic interpretations of seafood in Japanese cuisine.
