“Nanoha what are you doing?” This may have been one of the most bizarre positions Zafira had ever seen Nanoha in.
“Shhhhhhh!” Nanoha dragged the wolf behind the row of bushes she was hiding behind. “You can’t let her see you.”
“What are you—”
Nanoha pointed at her daughter who was but a few yards away—
“Ohhhhh.” He sighed and turned to Nanoha who was still staring intently at Vivio. “Nanoha just because Vivio goes out doesn’t mean you need to follow her around.”
Nanoha pointed again causing Zafira’s head to turn. Vivio wasn’t alone anymore. Now she was accompanied by a tall, handsome young man and what was more she was clinging to his arm.
Zafira’s gaze turned glacial, “We should get in closer.”
“And now we’re done organizing the F’s!” Little kid Arf cheered and stretched, joyous that another part of their annual book reorganizing was done.
Yuuno plopped a friendly hand on her head with a small smile, “And we only have twenty letters left.”
“Ug,” her face fell. “Why’d you remind me?”
“Ah sorry sorry.”
Poor Arf had fallen into a depression.
“How about we go out to dinner tonight to celebrate?” Yuuno offered. “My treat.”
Arf’s face brightened. “Will there be meat?” she asked with near childlike excitement.
“All the meat you want.”
“Yay meat!” She cheered happily. Her cheering stopped abruptly as she spotted someone. “Hey it’s Vivio.”
They had been walking down the street at a leisurely pace now they stopped abruptly in front of a mail box.
“Who’s that she’s with?” Yuuno didn’t recognize the boy, he probably just someone from her school.
“Yuuno-kun you’re blocking the way.”
“Mmm?” Yuuno and Arf turned around to see Nanoha peeking over the top of the mailbox with Zafira peering around its side. “N-Nanoha.”
Nanoha poked her head around Yuuno’s side, making sure Vivio wasn’t watching. Then she grabbed Yuuno by his collar and dragged him over the mail box. Unfortunately she misjudged his weight and he ended up in a jumbled heap on top of Zafira.
“Please get off me,” Zafira grunted.
Yuuno apologized and crouched down with Nanoha and now Arf. “So why are we hiding?”
“We’re protecting Vivio from the male menace.” Yuuno would have laughed if Zafira’s face hadn’t been utterly serious when he said that.
Beside him Nanoha nodded with equally earnest face.
Yuuno chuckled nervously, “Honestly Vivio’s a growing teenager it’s natural for her to go on dates like this.”
“But we don’t know anything about this guy,” Arf apparently was into this now. “What if he’s some sort of jock who hates books?”
“Hates… books.” Yuuno’s face grew dark and his glasses caught the light in a strange way so the glare from them hid his eyes. “They’re starting to move again. We better start moving if we want to keep up.”
“Yuuno-kun can be kind of scary Nya ha ha,” Nanoha looked away from ‘dark Yuuno’.
Zafira and Arf both nodded vigorously.
Chrono Harlaown was thankful for any time off he got. He never got a lot but he was very happy with the time he did get. He loved being back in his city, in his home. But apparently some things had changed since he was last home because he could think of no explanation for why his sister-in-law, her best friend and two familiars were hiding behind a group of trash cans.
“Hey Nanoha what are you—”
No sooner then the words were out of his mouth Nanoha drop-kicked him to the ground. “Shhhhh.”
Chrono’s mouth hung open as he scrambled to a somewhat sitting position. “What was—mmph!”
Arf clasped a hand over his mouth. “We’re following Vivio.” Her voice was barely above a whisper. She released his mouth.
“Why would you—” he peaked over the top of the trash can—“I’ll rip out his throat.”
“I agree,” Nanoha pouted. “But Yuuno-kun won’t let me.”
“Now now Chrono,” Yuuno patted him on the back, “You too Nanoha,” he patted her too. “Let’s not get hasty.”
“Right.” Zafira nodded in agreement. “We find out more about him more about him then we rip out his throat.”
“No no that’s not what I meant.” Yuuno sighed.
“I say we hit him where it hurts!” The look in Arf’s eyes could only be described as evil.
Zafira, Chrono and Yuuno looked at her in utter horror.
“Or not.”
The motley crew of five continued to follow the teenager for a good thirty minutes. Along the way they had picked up three new additions, Signum, who was shocked Vivio’s young man hadn’t come to Nanoha for permission to court her daughter, Shamal, who reminded Signum that dating was just a tad different now a days, and Vita, who reprised Arf’s sentiments of “hitting him where it hurts” followed again by Zafira, Yuuno and Chrono’s utter dismay.
Now a group of eight they followed Vivio into a train station. She and her supposed beau stopped there. They talked for a few minutes, too far away for any of Vivio’s stalkers to hear. Then they both leaned in, as did Vivio’s concerned extended family, they leaned right over the corner of the ticket booth they were hiding behind. Then Vivio reached up and kissed her man on his cheek. A collective sigh of relief was admitted from the group.
The boy left on the train and Vivio stood there for a few moments. Then she turned around and walked to the ticket booth that the group was stationed by. She stared at the group for a minute, a look of realization and mild annoyance on her face. They stared back, a look of embarrassment mixed with… more embarrassment.
Then Vivio’s face changed to one of glee. The kind of glee you get when you realize you now hold a delightful amount of power. “I’m soooo telling Fate-mama.”
Spoiler for Afterwords:
And she'll tell Hayate and Amy too.
OH MY. That would be truly evil. I DEMAND AFTERMATH LOLZ. Because oh, oh oh, how awesome that would be. Also, I like the idea of everyone flipping out about Vivio dating and Fate being all, 'eh' on the subject. Fate-chan's such a good mommy. I wish that mine where like her. I'm an adult and I still feel as though she's stalking me some times...

Chapter 4
Vatican Knights
Spoiler for Cry:
"I told you to turn"
The little child didn't respond, she still was crying on her knees, Jasper and Karil were behing me, also pointing their weapons to that strange kid, we knew it may be a trick, the slaves of the dark weren't fools
"I will not ask again. Turn"
Finally that girl stoped cry, without turning she told me
"Have you come here to hurt me too?"
Dam it Vivio, don't fallin that trick was my though in that moment
"If you turn, we will help you" Jasper said
"Why everybody want to hurt me?" That kid said again
"We will not hurt you if you turn" Karil said
"Why everybody want to hurt me?! Why? Why? WHY?!!!!!"
The girl finally turns, we were right, she was a slave of the dark, that little girl was turned into an espectral figure, her stature grouth into something like 2 meters and a half, her hair got rampage and her face, well, she dan no face, instead of that there was an enormus black hole that covered all that once were face
"A BANSHEE!" Jasper screamed at the time he and Karil action their guns I had no time, with a single move of her arm the banshee launched me a the back of the room, she make an infernal chill and like a savage animal she ran out of the room
Karil ran were I was, she helped me to stand up, we go out of the room as fast as we could, Sky, Alphonse and Helga were runing at our point
"What happen?" Sky asked
"It's a banshee" I told him
"Well, were is she?" Before we could answer, the wall near at us was destroyed and the Banshee came out of it, she grabbed Helga by the neck
"Holy sh...!" Alphonse said this at the time he started to shoot the demon, we all backup him, the banshee made infernal souds each time a bullet go through her twisted body, finally she launched Helga who was catched by Sky, the banshee made a hole in the ground and go inside it
"Is Helga O.K?" Karil asked
"When I catch that freak, SHE WILL GOING TO REGRET THIS!" Yes, Helga never change
"Follow her, do not let her escape!" We inmediatly obey Sky's comands and follow the banshee inside the hole, the kitchen, we were at the kitchen, Jasper walked to the door and took a look, "She must be in the hall" We go to the hall, there was no sign of her, Sky and Helga finally randevous with us
"She haven't leave the orphanate, that is sure" Alphonse said
"She can't escape" Sky insist, well, I was sure that that wasn't her intention, a Slave of the dark never leave until it has killed at least one person
"Look up!" Helga screamed, the banshee was walking in the roof, hell she was walking like a spider in the hall's roof, inmediatly we started to shoot, I shoot once and twice but the infernal spawn dodge our bullets with no problem, in a moment she stoped and splitted a strange green glue, I realised that it was with direction to Karil, I jumped and pushed Karil with my body out of the glue's way, it falls into a wooden chair who was meelted in seconds, right, no one even dear to hurt Karil, in that moment I was really angry, I grabedd my gun and point it to the banshee, I pull the triger, the bullet come out
"AGHHHHHHHH!" The banshee screamed, the bullet had gone just inside the hole in her face, she falled to the ground, but she wasn't dead, she got up and prepare to charge against me and Karil, I tryed to fire, but then I realised it, I was out of ammo
I close my eyes and covered Karil with my body, I was waiting to fell her claws going inside my skin, but nothing, Have she decided to stop? No, a Slave of the Dark never stops, I rise my head and see him, Sky had impaled an iron croos just in the chest of the banshee, she started to scream , a slave of the dark can survive if a croos go through their rooted hearts
Sky started to say "In the name of the father, the soon and the holy Spirit, leave your eternal pain and go to a reward of peace" The banshee started to burn yelling and making horrible sounds, insulting us with wrath while she was turning into a pile of ashes, it was ended, the Slave had been defeated, we all remain silent, Karil was holding my arm, Jasper, Helga and Alphonse had falled into their knees, I prefered to stay with Karil who was a bit shocked, Finally Sky said
"Well done team! Now you are oficially Vatican Knights, you shall fell proud of yourelfs" he go were me and Karil were and helped us to stand up "Let's go back home, to celebrate our new Knights!"

That thing seemed scary! Do all the slaves of the dark look like that?
"Mama?" Vivio walked back up to the shopping buggy with an armful of treats and chips. "Let's get these, we havn't had snacks in ages."
"Mou, Vivio," Nanoha sniffed at her. "We're not getting a bunch of stuff like that, go put it back." With a shake of her head she continued on her path through the aisle and putting only the items on her shopping list into the cart. 'I swear, that girl has a sweet tooth that puts Fate to shame. Honestly, all those snacks...I need to teach her how to shop properly within a budget.'
Vivio scuffled her foot across the floor as she turned and walked back the way she had come. "Jeez, I'm sixteen already, I can pick a few things out..." Sadly she put her fruit snacks back on the shelf. As she turned She looked at Fate, who was smiling at her happily.
"Let's..." She began, taking a few of Vivio's items top go pay out for on her own. "Keep this a secret from Mama, okay?"
"Fate-mama, thank you." She smiled brightly and allowed herself to be pet a few times. "You're the best!" The girl quickly ran back over to Nanoha while Fate made her get-away and smiled mischievously at her.
Nanoha blinked at her teenager and stopped pushing the buggy. "I don't like that look," she informed her uneasily. "That's the 'Fate-mama is doing something you told me not to' look isn't it?"
Vivio almost fell over. "Wha? you can't read me like that!"
"I raised you, I know your looks." Nanoha poked her nose. "Did you go behind my back again?" Her daughter swallowed thickly, starting to sweat. "Mou..." a hand was placed on her hip and she gave her daughter a look mixed between a glare and helplessness. Finally she sighed out and started walking again. "Fine, fine, a few snacks won't hurt."
"Um... Thank you?" Vivio's eyes went to her feet, suddenly feeling bad about what happened. 'But Fate-mama said it was okay...' Her mental pep talk didn't work and she found herself scolded despite Nanoha not getting on to her for it.
~**~
"Fate-chan," Nanoha leaned against the counter in their apartment and crossed her arms. "I waited until Vivio was away so I'll say it now... Please don't go behind me when I try and teach her something."
"Eh?" Fate stopped putting away the groceries and looked over her shoulder. "What do you- oh." A small blush went over her cheeks. "It's because Nanoha-mama is so strict."
"I'm not strict, I'm proper." She countered. "If you keep spoiling her she will-"
"Grow up like Caro and Elio?" Fate shot back in a stern but still polite voice. The two mentioned were currently top ranked at their current jobs and living a happy life in the same house. "Or like Arf, who now even got a job in her adult form since she had a chance to grow up?"
Nanoha slowly chose the words. "Vivio isn't just yours."
"And she isn't just yours," Fate walked over to her wife and crossed her arms as well. "We've been over this."
"But you never listen!"
"I listen!"
"Then act like it!" Nanoha moved forward. "I'm sick and tired of my scolding her and you just going behind me and ruining the lesson I try and teach her!"
Fate glared. "You're so harsh; grounding her until her next report card won't make her study more."
"Yes it will!"
"Then why did she sneak out!?" Fate frowned at Nanoha's shocked look. "Yes, that's right, she snuck out. Because you are so rough on her." She poked Nanoha's chest. "Because you don't take the time to ensure that her learning is fun and not 'manditory'. Because you are always so 'proper' she started looking for ways to enjoy her life without you always being down her neck!" She sniffed at her. "Good thing I was there to make sure it didn't become a habit by allowing her to go out normally, where we knew she was, where we could contact her."
Nanoha leaned back on the counter. "She really...?"
"Yeah." Fate slowly softened up. "... Hey, I'm sorry..." Moving forward, she gave Nanoha a small hug that wasn't returned. "I yelled at you again."
"I'm used to it," Nanoha whispered lightly, finally hugging her back. "I keep screwing up."
"No one is perfect. Specially with a wild girl like Vivio." Fate took Nanoha's hands and squeezed them. "She's starting to see guys now, starting to want to get out and party, you know, the normal teenage things. At times like this we need to understand her and make sure she will come to us if she has a problem."
"And me being so...strict... prevents that, huh?" She looked down between them. "I just thought... she grew up so nice. Always polite, always on time... What happened?"
"She realized that she controlled her own life," Fate explained softly. "So she wanted to explore it. Limitations are nice, but we have to let her breathe more than we used to. We can't hold her hand crossing streets anymore... sometimes we just have to wave at her as she runs off to have fun."
"I guess... I could slack up a little?"
"You taught her very well. She won't forget the lessons we gave her as a child. We just need let her show us that we can trust her."
"But I do-"
"She doens't know." Fate soothed her. "We need to give her the chance. The ability to make the choice without going through one of us."
"How?"
"By starting small." Fate smiled. "How about we let her shop by herself next time?"
"But-"
"She's sixteen." Fate reminded the scared face. "And she took driver's education already. "Let's let her go, give her a list and some extra money. We'll see what she does."
"...Can I-"
"no, you can't fly above her and watch."
"But-" She stopped protesting when Fate thumped her nose. "Owie..."
"you have to let go sometime, Nanoha-mama."
"I don't want to..." She leaned up against Fate and fought back tears. "She's my little girl..."
"She will always be your girl," Fate spoke into her hair. "But she's turning into a big girl without you realizing it."
"...Yeah..."She gave a bittersweet smile. "She's so tall..."
"You're short." Fate laughed out her joke, resting her chin on the top of Nanoha's head
~**~
"Vivio?" Nanoha peeked into her daughter's room and saw her sitting on the bed with headphones on reading a magazine. Almost stepping in, she caught herself. "Um, may I come in?"
"Yes," Vivio looked shocked at the question, pulling the earcovers away and resting around her neck. "What is it, Mama?"
"Well," She sat on Vivio's bed. "Fate-mama and I were talking and... we decided to increase your allowance." She felt proud at the sudden happy look she was getting. "But," She held up a finger. "We are no longer going to buy things for you anymore... so... Use your money wisely and buy whatever you want."
"Anything?"
"Anything." Nanoha melted in the hug she just got.
"Thank you Nanoha-mama!" Vivio almost screamed out a laugh. "Anything? really? Chips, magazines, CDs, DVDs? Anything?"
Nanoha put a hand on her daughter's head. "Remember, if you spend it all on junk, you won't have enough money to go out with your friends to hte movies or the malls." Again she got a questioning look. "you're ungrounded, Vivio. You can take one of our cars if we don't need it for work... All you have to do is ask and come back when we tell you... okay?"
"Okay!" Vivio smiled brightly. "Thank you, Mama." Her expression changed slightly as she sat next to her and let her feet go over the side of her bed. "To be honest... I felt a little shut in sometimes," Nanoha took her hand and allowed her to continue. "But I promise, I'll be good and come back before curfew, and... And I'll spend my money wisely after I blow my first set on stuff I want, I promise!"
"Good," Leaning over, Nanoha kissed Vivio's temple. "I trust you."
"thanks... That means a lot to me, Nanoha-mama."
With another smile, she stood up and walked to the door. "I'm going to start dinner soon so be ready in about an hour-ish."
"Sure thing Mama!"
Slowly closing the door behind her, Nanoha looked up with tear filled eyes. "She's growing up so fast!"
"Aw, there there, Nanoha-mama." Fate hugged her. "Just think, soon she will be going on dates."
"no you won't." Fate countered her. "Because I would have Bardiche on them before that." The two looked at each other and gently giggled to themselves.
That was good. I liked the relationship between Fate and Nanoha. They would have problems with parenting because of their different personalities. The comment about Vivio dating was really funny. Poor boy.

Vivio looked down at her attire. A dark miniskirt that just begged to flash her pitch black panties, hooker boots that zipped up to her knees with spiked heels, fishnet fingerless gloves that hugged her arms to her shoulders, a shirt that showed off her stomach that had glittery body lotion on it, and finally two loose belts that criss-crossed loosely around her hips. "Um... To the party?" She tried lamely. "I asked you and you said I could go..."
"Not dressed like that," Nanoha scolded her. "You look like you're offering yourself! What if someone hits on you? Are you ready to deal with that kind of situation?"
Vivio almost fell over. "I... I kind of want someone to hit on me.... I'm single, you know."
"That's even worse!" Nanoha threw out her arms. "I was young too, and I know if I saw someone wearing that it would totally send signals to me that you wanted sex! Where in the world did you get those clothes!?"
At that moment Fate walked in their apartment, smiling happily at Vivio. "Oh! So some of my old clothes in the closet fit you after all!" She turned to Nanoha. "you should clean your side out too, if she can wear my old things then she could probably fit in...Why are you looking at me like that?"
Nanoha slowly face palmed. "...I thought that looked a little familiar."
Vivio took the opertunity to run out the door
I like the clothes...Fate's old clothes. Lucky Nanoha! I want to see fate dressed like that.

I woke early, just like always. My blond hair was pooled around me on the bed, shining in the brisk morning sunlight peeking through the blinds in my room. As I slowly got out of bed I rubbed my eyes and stumbled on sore legs to my bathroom, where I splashed my face several times to light fire that was buring in my chest since last night.
The first day of college.
I brushed my teeth quickly and looked in the mirror at my reflection. mis-colored eyes looked back at me, catching the light and sparkling. My eyes were different, I know, but I liked them. Even if people at my old school made fun of me sometimes, calling me "Eyes" as an insult. They reminded me of my mother and father, who I had only seen in photographs.
My parents died when I was little, leaving me with no family. I was told it was a plane crash, they were flying overseas to perform in a concert hall. Luckily for me I was put in a nice home and stayed there with other orphens until I managed to get into a dorm in highschool. From there my grades and my ability to play soccer got me into college, where I was now.
A new dorm, a new school, a new life.
I got dressed while reflecting over everything. I was a bartender, working late afternoons and nights. The owner knew my parents, and he basically took care of me as his own. The pay was good, but the tips were better. I had a nice body, slender figure, great boobs if I do say so myself, and a nice ass. Oh yeah. keep drooling guys.
Guys wern't really a large part in my life, most hitting on me and then wanting sex. I was a virgin still, and I was content with that. Currently single and looking, something I hoped to stop sometime this year.
I looked at the large pinups on my wall and smiled at my role model. Takamachi Nanoha, the ace of aces tennis player. I know soccer was my thing, but ther was just something about that girl, a senior in college now, that made me like her. MAybe it was her kind attitude, maybe it was her determination to keep playing after she broke her arm in the past, maybe it was something else, I dunno. But I was sure of one thing, I looked up to her. I even mimicked her hairstyle; a side-up ponytail.
Nanoha was in my college, maybe I would even get her autograph.
College!
I looked at the clock and realized that I had been daydreaming way too long. True, I had ample time to get to my class but I was still nervous. I needed to get breakfast too, and find my class, and allow for mistakes and... OH I should just go!
As I ran down the stairs of my dorm, I watched other people walk by. A male my age with flaming red hair riding on a skateboard flew past me, and a a grou pof two girls followed himl one with light pink hair and the other a dark purple.
As I got on campus I walked behind a girl with blue hair talking to her friend with orange pigtails. A little while later I passed a blond male and his seemingly best friend with blackish blue hair, both hanging out and laughing.
A blond who favored the color black brushed past me, looking very busy, and waved to a girl with brown hair kept out of her eyes with a small "x" shaped hair pin.
And then I saw her. Nanoha. Walking up the stairs to the Union and going through the doors casually.
What to do? There was no way I could run over there in time to actually find her...and if I did, what would I even say?
I bit my lip and thought quickly.
A.)find your first class!
B.)follow Nanoha in hopes of seeing her.
C.) ask someone around you for directions.
D.) Get some food before first class.

Takamachi Vivio tapped her finger against her watch face as she watched the digital readout count up the minutes that her mother was late to pick her up from practice. She'd asked for a ride today simply because she knew her mom was going to be in town around the time she was going to finish her school commitments for the day. Had she known that she was going to be waiting another twenty minutes beyond the eight grueling hours that she'd already dedicated to her school that day, she would have just taken the bus home. She could be sitting on her ass watching a movie with Zaphira right now - not standing around in the growing darkness scowling at the empty road before her.
"Hey Takamachi!" One of the rugby players called from beyond the school's chain link fence that was built to keep the balls and rogue students inside the school grounds while they were out of their classrooms.
Vivio looked up, her eyes bright as one of the tall older boys from the team (the one that she'd been watching out of the corner of her eye all through practice) ran up and smiled brightly at her. She didn't know his name, but she did think that he was quite handsome. It was made even better by the fact that he knew her name when many of her classmates didn't remember it.
She kept her head down for reasons that were well known to everyone who knew her family closely, but Vivio did wish, sometimes, that she could be loud and not worry about somehow damaging either of her parent's reputations.
She smiled shyly at the boy, walking over to the fence and running her fingers along the cool metal as she tried not to look as awkward as she felt, talking to a complete stranger.
"Look, a couple of the guys and I were talking, and we thought that maybe you'd like to come and play with us for a while, since you're not doing anything right now anyway." He blushed slightly, rubbing his hand along the back of his neck.
Vivio was not all that great at rugby, and she would most likely make the boys not actually play that well, as they would be too afraid that she'd get hurt. Still, it did sound like a lot more fun that sitting and waiting for her absent mother. She sighed, "I'm not very good, I'm sorry. Maybe some other time."
He nodded, his fingers closing around the fence as well as he leaned up against it. "Do you want me to wait with you, Takamachi?" he asked. The dwindling sunlight made his skin look far more bronzed than Vivio knew it really was. She thought he looked even more handsome in the sun. Almost as gallant as Fate-mama after a battle.
"I'd like that." Vivio blushed. They were back to back now, their fingers touching through the fence.
They stood in silence for a few minutes, staring in opposite directions as Vivio tried to figure out the best way to tell this very kind boy that she did not know his name. It was so stupid, because she knew that her friends on the tennis team had told her that someone on the rugby team had a crush on her - but she could not, for the life of her, remember his name.
"Takamachi-" He said.
"Call me by my first name," Vivio said shortly. Her lips turned downward into a pout. She was not her mother, not in the least bit - and sometimes she just wanted to be Vivio, and not just another child misplaced because of the JS Incident. "Takamachi is my mother."
"Only if you call me Marcus then," he turned and smiled at her, "Vivio."
She blushed.
The roar of a highly-customized engine made Vivio jump as she allowed her fingers to linger on Marcus' larger ones through the fence. It was so nice to simply stand here in silence and enjoy this near-stranger's company, Vivio was sad to leave. She blushed brightly as she watched her mother's sleek black sports car pull into the school's parking lot.
"I have to go, Marcus," Vivio said quietly. She pulled a slip of paper out of her pocket - a receipt for groceries that Nanoha-mama had refused to buy for her that she'd gotten for herself on her way in to school this morning. She scribbled the number of her personal communication number through her intelligant device, "Call me some time, we should play rugby together."
Marcus took the paper and grinned, "I will."
Vivio picked up her bag and waved once more at Marcus before trotting over to the passanger side of her mother's car.
"Took you long enough," she grumbled shoving her bag and jacket into the back seat.
Fate T. Harlaown, her mother and perhaps the person who understood Vivio best of all the adults she knew, smiled apologetically. "I'm sorry, Vivio. We had to run drills today, and you know how those can run overtime." She glanced over at the fence, where Marcus was waving and blushing like a mad thing. "But then again, I see that my tardiness has had some fruits after all."
Vivio blushed, "Don't tell Nanoha-mama yet, alright?" She looked imploringly at her mother, "I want to actually get to know him before he realizes that she's that Takamachi." She looked down at her hands, her cheeks burning even more. Fate-mama couldn't keep anything from Nanoha-mama and as indulgent as the blond woman was of Vivio's needs, there were certain things that not even Fate could ignore.
"He seems decent enough, but you have to tell Nanoha soon." Fate said, shifting up a gear and gunning the car's engine. They sped down the highway towards home and Vivio shrieked with joy. She loved it when Fate-mama drove like this - for there was no better thrill short of flying. "I can't keep secrets from her, Vivio."
Vivio smiled, she'd cross that bridge when she came to it.
Marcus sounds hot! I want a continuation of this to see Nanoha's reaction.

“I’m soooo telling Fate-mama.”
so funny. So many people. I liked "dark" Yuuno. That was awesome!
For all the posts: Go Teenage!Vivio. I want more of these!
Forgot to comment on this That was freaky! Go Vivio protect Karil! That was cool. Scary when she ran out of ammo though.

I was not expecting that! That's so cool and twisted. This is definitely going to be interesting. @EvilRick Ah! Ella is attacking from behind and Salazar just burst through the window!!!!!!!
Ella is plain scary! XD In a good evil kind of way that is! Wouldn't want to meet her. Maybe it's the (absence of) clothes...
Salazar looks kind of cool (I wouldn't want to meet him either though...)! Although his face kind of reminds me of something I've seen before, a long time ago...

O.M.G! *shocked*
That... is... so... unexpected.
[Kai's interest in Vatican Knights has increased]
Vivio stood outside in it, staring up at the rain. She couldn't... feel it, no matter how hard she was trying. Feeling the rain was... impossible. Feeling anything was impossible, right now. Her lower lip quivered as she looked up into the rain, her eyes were wet with her tears, and she felt about ready to break down and cry. Nothing was the same, she thought. Nothing.
Nanoha was... gone. She wasn't dead, but she was gone. They had duped her, deceived her, into making Vivio think she was still around, but that was just a decoy, an illusion, a perfect dream in an imperfect world. And for the briefest of moments, Vivio had allowed herself to feel happy, to feel complete in her home. It was the biggest mistake she ever made, she decided, and now...
Vivio sat down hard on the sidewalk, bowing her head. Long blonde hair cascaded down around her head as she forced her eyes to shut and covered her ears with her hands. Shivering, the girl tightened up into a ball, rocking back and forth slowly. All she could think, could feel, the emotional, mental, physical scars. Her heart hurt so much, she felt like it was going to rip apart at any moment, ending its own suffering and her own. She wanted to find a small place, far away from everything and anyone, trying to forget, forget everything. Forget life. She wanted to die. Nothing could hurt more yet give her such sweet release and that right now.
The rain mimicked her feelings. As if it wanted to just end it now, it started to rain harder, as if to get it all out. The pressure from the rain pushed on her it seemed, causing her to curl up more and more, hiding the sound of her sobs as she finally let the dam break, her own rain joining that of the sky above.
Behind her, a second person walked out of the open door, her arms in her pockets as she walked up to the girl in front of her. She stopped beside Vivio, looking down at the blonde with a disheartened look on her face. She reached down slowly, as if to touch her, but felt that she couldn't do just that. Taking off her jacket, she draped it around Vivio's shivering, crying shoulders before she herself sat down. Two sad eyes looked at the blonde, as if unsure what to say. But what could she say? Perhaps, really, it was better to say nothing at all.
Syn looked away briefly, staring up at the downpour as it threatened to drown the two girls. Vivio wasn't going to move, and her slowly increasing sobs of tormented pain did little to drown out the cacophony of glistening raindrops as they hit whatever was below them, ending their brief lives in a splash of water. Syn put an arm around the girl slowly, around the shoulders, and said nothing. Her heart hurt as well, hurting for Vivio as she let out her own emotional discord, as tears freely flowed down her face.
"Vivio..." Syn whispered softly. She opened her mouth to speak again, but found no words of comfort there. There was nothing that she could say now, not after this grandiose spectacle of disaster that the gods had thrust down upon the young girl, as if Heaven itself was mocking her existence. As if everything just wanted her to die... or maybe wanted her to live, just so she could suffer more. Maybe that was it; a twist of fate. A twist of cruel, malicious fate.
Silence as Vivio continued to cry, unable to do anything else. Syn pulled Vivio closer, letting the girl lean on her as she continued to suffer. No one should suffer this much. Syn thought as she felt her own tears start. No one. Why does this happen to her? Only her? Isn't there someone else they can put this on?! I don't understand! Why her?! Why does it have to always be her?! Why can't she have a life of her own?!
Syn blinked away tears as she placed a hand on Vivio's shoulder, pulling her closer in an awkward embrace as Vivio's tears began to subside and, slowly, as Vivio spoke.
"I... I..." Vivio sobbed. "I just wanted... happiness. I thought, thought I had it here. I can't even get that, Syn... why does this always happen to me? All I've had in my life is you, and I'm so afraid of what will happen next that... that I feel like I'm going to lose you too!" Vivio let out another sob.
"For so long, I just tried to be someone... someone normal. I just wanted someone to recognize me for who I was! I wanted... I wanted an ordinary life, not this screwed up thing I have! I want to hate it all, hate everything," another sob. "I want to hate you so much it hurts, but I can't because at the same time I don't want to lose you... I..."
Syn closed her eyes as Vivio cried harder suddenly. "I want my mama... I want her back... I want to see her again! Syn, why can't I?! Why can't I see her anymore?! I don't understand! I want mama back..."
Syn couldn't speak as Vivio's sobs enveloped the two. Syn held the broken girl, held her the best she could, wishing that, somehow, she could be Vivio's heaven, take her somewhere far from here, far from all this misery. She wanted to help Vivio so much, but she couldn't. She was trapped in here with Vivio. Trapped in this downward spiral. Trapped because she refused to leave Vivio's side.
"Syn..." Vivio whispered through tears. "I... don't leave me, okay? Don't leave me, please don't leave me, I don't want to be alone, I don't want to be scared anymore. I can't hate you, can't do it because if I'm alone, I'll die! Even though I want to end this so much, but I can't! Syn, please, help me make it go away!"
"I will," Syn promised hoarsely. "I swear... I will. I'll never leave you. I'll be here for you, Vivio. Always."
The words cut deep into Vivio's heart, hurting her at the same time they comforted her. Vivio relented into Syn's grip, letting go of her ears and throwing her arms around Syn, crying uncontrollably, saying to her over and over again, "Don't leave me, don't leave me, don't leave me."
"I'll never leave you," Syn repeated to her, stroking Vivio's hair slowly. "I love you too much for that."
More tears came. More tears to mix with the rain.
The unrelenting rain.
...and I don't want the world to see me,
Cause I don't think that they'd understand,
When everything's made to be broken,
I just want you to know who I am...
Vivio stood outside in it, staring up at the rain. She couldn't... feel it, no matter how hard she was trying. Feeling the rain was... impossible. Feeling anything was impossible, right now. OH MY. That would be truly evil. I DEMAND AFTERMATH LOLZ. Because oh, oh oh, how awesome that would be.
That was sad and good. And it gets bonus points for having iris in it. Actually it made me want to go write more of my main-characters-died-but-Vivio-turned-out-okay universe. (Instead of MBLZ which I really need to finish)
@EvilRick Awesome villian But you meant angel not angle.
I haven't read it due to lack of time, but, due to Yukari's performance as Nanoha's VA, I push forward the motion for the unnamed Vivio fic to be titled:

Beautiful. And very sad. may I ask what happened to Nanoha?
We decided to go into town again, this time grabbing lunch casually at a fast food joint and sharing it on a bench at the park. We ate in comfortable silence, just enjoying the cool breeze and sounds of nature mixed with the big city. I had really run out of things to do already. Five dates in five days really took up a lot of time.
"It's really nice here, isn't it?" She asked out of the blue as the wind rustled her hair. "I normally come here to think."
"Oh?" I never knew that. I always thought she flew around... Oh that's right, since we became official T.S.A.B. members we were bound by their rules. No flying without permission. "Why here?"
"Everything started here," She pointed down the walkway. "I found Yuuno-kun down there somewhere. I can't remember exactly but close by. From there I became a mage and met you."
"We fought around here somewhere too, didn't we?" That was so long ago, it was already fuzzy on exactly what I had done."
"We fought everywhere," She giggled happily at the memories. "Over the town, in the park, outside city limits... Hey, we even threw each other through buildings."
"Yeah, sorry about that." I chuckled lightly. Despite those being hard times, we both looked back at our battles, save the last one, as funny things. "I recall me winning them."
"Hey," She pouted at me. "I just learned I could do things back then, I think I did pretty well for knowing nothing at all."
I leaned back and looked up at the sky. "You are a prodigy, that doesn't count."
"So are you,"
"And Hayate," I reminded her. "She's tougher than both of us."
"I wonder if one day we'll become famous as "the three Aces" or something. We're already talked about a lot."
"True," I blushed lightly. I knew people talked about us, but I wasn't sure if it was good or bad. Already we had climbed ranks incredibly fast, and Nanoha was about to enter her final stages of flight instructor school. I was already trained as an enforcer, having completed the required parts two years ago, and were enrolled in advanced classes part time. We were both years ahead of even the best mages, and years younger than them.
And they always referred to us together. That was neat.
"So," I smiled at her and stood, offering my hand. "Shall we go, Darling?"
"Sure, honey." She took my hand and stood, quickly hugging my arm and holding onto it. "Where are we going now?" She smiled brightly. "Can we get some ice cream? Please?"
"Hehe, sure. More ice cream coming up!"
"Yay!" We both laughed and began walking together, her body snuggled up against mine.
