Another 4-0 day (Total 65-11). Rin is the only one that face a slight challenge but it's not even much...

For next round:
G02: Pick/Predict: Chi-chan. Yami and Karen are about equal, and Chi-chan is a tier above them
G05: Pick/Predict: Sae. All 3 are weak and finish about the same place in prelim....
G08: Pick/Predict: Ayano. とうしのうきょうこ！
G11: Pick: Miu, Predict: Hajime. One of those match where old Saki girl has a chance just b/c the opponents are way too weak...

Not quite a convincing win for Rin Natsume (in comparison to the other matches), but a win is a win. Very nice.

Very convincing wins for Ruri and Ruiko, Excellent!

Next matches, I'm supporting Yami, Chiho, Karen..... oh, they're in the same match. At least one will advance.
Also supporting Anzu (Seiyuu combo) and Miu, even if they're not the favorite in the match.

I'm not a huge Biribiri fan, but I never really say Biribiri is not moe at all and at least I understand why some people think Biribiri is moe.

Well for Eucliwood it is most likely her kuudere personality why she is and possibly her talking via signs most of the time gave her more moe points. Also her physical appearance too, especially for those who count physical appearances as moe traits.

All the expected winners won and none of them had any trouble. Not a particularly interesting match day. I guess Chihaya ended up doing a bit better than I thought she would.

Of most if not all kuuderes, I'd only really happily vote for Eu. I tend to hate the kuudere archtype, but I can make an exception with Eu. At least with Eu, it is kinda forced on her. Then, like you said, you have the fact that she can still maintain a personality by note writing instead of being silent all the time.

If I remember correctly too, didn't the MC of that show always portray her in 'moe' mannerisms (so not just kuudere) with a variety of VA's? I think the whole combination of Eu and her show just make it work like no other kuudere.

That being said though, I unfortunately feel her success in ISML is mostly due to being a lesser Kanade.

look all those railgun/index characters

Popularity ALWAYS has to do with it...

Which brings me to the other point of Korewa Zombie not even being that popular...

A 2-2 day (Total 67-13). Nozomi wins out although not unexpected, while lower tier Saki girls continues to lose left and right...

G09: Pick: Yuniko, Predict: Umi. Should be very easy for Umi.

Chiho won her match without much issue. Yami wasn't really able to do much. Sae isn't able to win in the end. Nozomi manages to come out on top. Ayano turns out to be way too strong for Anzu to beat and the match isn't close. Hajime does end up losing which isn't to surprising. Maybe Miu is stronger than I think she is. I wasn't sure if she was stronger than Barton and probably would have chosen Barton if I wanted to pick against Hajime.

Matches: G03 G06 G09 G12

Kokaji is fairly weak but her opponents are also really bad. I don't really want to pick her to win but it's hard to justify taking one of her opponents. Maybe Goemon can do something? I guess I'll stick with Kokaji. Tsukiko should be fairly strong. I don't think she's as strong as Azuki Azusa but she should win over Sanae. Umi should win the third match. The more popular Love Live characters have looked pretty good and Yuniko isn't that hard to beat. Akari stomps the fourth match. The question here is if the Yuru Yuri fanbase will want to try and get Chinatsu over Index. Akari is in the running to win the Block so second place matters here. I think Index is too much for Chinatsu to handle while Akari is around, though. Akari will take first with Index in second.
