I immediately thought of Shiori when I saw her. If she is as moe as Shiori, we're in for some good times. When did she appear? I can't remember. If she talked and I didn't spot her before, than I fail as a Kana fan.

Between this and the Haruka arc, I'm really starting to think that Little Busters came about when Jun Maeda went to Gen Urobuchi looking for some ideas on how to make Key stories more "badass" and this is what the two of them came up with while drunk one night.
She's the spitting image of Shiori. Only significant difference is slight eye color difference, which could be chalked up to contacts. Quote:

I know you are joking, but just to be clear so people won't have weird expectations: Maeda was not responsible of any scenario in LB, except Rin and the last route.

Yeah, seriously... Kana Hanazawa shows up to deliver like 3 lines in a bit part, and a few seconds later, Riki gets hit with a Prothean beacon vision Innocent little class trip girl is giving me the same vibes as a certain totally unimportant gas station attendant.

It's funny seeing alot of people making remark like "this arc is filled with Maeda this and Maeda that" or "this show is just reek of Maeda-ish symptom" while he only wrote 2 routes(or 3 if you count EX) and all of them haven't even show up yet.
In episode 2,but she didn't speak so stay strong as a KanaHana fan. |

What's even funnier are comments like: "I just played Rewrite, I can't wait to see it animated, what a VN, as expected of Maeda Jun!" when Maeda's involvement was 0% |

That being said, I would think that there's someone who is ensuring that all of these different routes don't contradict each other, contribute to the broader narrative (where applicable), that sort of thing. Like what a Chief Editor is for one of the big two comic book companies (Marvel and DC) when they do a big crossover event. Isn't that what Maeda is for LB? Or is that somebody else?

For the first time, it looks like the Little Busters will not be able to help one of their comrades.
Echoing Riki's question in the preview, how the heck will Kud be able to survive whatever holocaust-of-a-scenario she will find herself in? D:

Well, that was pretty solid. I like how the story reinserts the theme of community and friendship. It seems like the recurring concept is that the individuals have an extreme lack of self-worth, but with the power of friendship, they find meaning, with Riki of course being the mediator. Kud like Haruka and Mio were unable to find any self meaning; in the case of Kud, she lived in the shadow of her mother, who became more and more distant. So she clings on to whatever little she has.
It's been my opinion, that Key is best as low-key (no pun intended) and is strongest when we're delving into the characters' souls instead of some over the top bullshit crying animu. We can at least see what the characters are going through; it's usually when they try to be too clever and try their hand at world building and pretentious philosophical awakenings that I'm just like "lay off the drugs man". So, even in the face of serious and dramatic events like this, I'm not too concerned with the plot, but with the character relations. Edit: Also, Kana Hanazawa detetcted
