The second half of this game was simply a beat down.

The last time Netherlands did this (if my memory serves me right) was when they beat my country with 6:1!

Maybe it's because it's Friday 13th!
Friday the 13th.

About Casillas, people have said for a while now that he shouldn't be the starter for Spain. Other goalkeepers, like David De Gea, have made considerable progress since the last couple of years. It's Del Bosque's fault for not making the same tough decision the Germans made regarding Kahn in 2006.

Dani Carvajal should be glad he was cut off from the final list, he saved himself from this mess today

Poor spain... Really bad defending...
Casillas should not be on that post today. What do you expect from a man who hasnt played for nearly one year and not guarded by defenders...

But I think Spain believes in Tuesday 13th instead

We got our first real surprise of this World Cup and it was a juicy one. Someone finally took Spain down a peg.

A joke was that Casillas learnt his trade and skills by having a non-existent defence in Real Madrid in the early years. Guess he has to go through that process again.

Well that was unexpected.

But in all honest, that scoreline actually did not quite reflect the play. Netherlands 3rd goal would be controversial for obstructing GK. The 4th was clear individual mistake. And the 5th and so on was the total collapse

Don't means to play down Netherlands win through as they had very clinical finish, and pace and intelligent runs of their forward.

But then Spain also lost the first game of last WC and won the tournament, so let's see they can climb out of this defeat. Who knows they may have a chance of revenge down the road

That's because Spain plays like Barceleon and you saw how last season went for them.

Looked at the Spanish news:

Quote:
Humillación mundial
Tiki taka is getting old. Spain should have known that already but they decided to play the same like always...

Well, A deep bow for The Netherlands they played a good second half. They deserved to win.

I just saw an even better headline on the news:
Quote:
Ganó la furia, la furia holandesa de la revancha
Oh boy, the spanish press it's pissed...

Chile is not gonna be a push over. And they also got home~ish advantage. If Spain not careful, they may be out at group stage.

Just realised that Netherland now can screw Spain up, by losing to Chile in their final match. Assume Australia won't be able to register a single point. It gonna be 6 points for all with Spain already -4 in GD.

If Vidal's fit Chile can actually play quite similar to the Dutch. They do have physical players and Alexis Sanchez can do the Robben role.

I don't think they'll want to risk things getting out of hand and possibly dropping to 2nd place and face Brazil.

Imagine Alexis taking out Spain out of the world cup.
