At exactly five past twelve on Saturday afternoon, Fate Testarossa poked wearily at her food for the fourth time.

Signum sat across from her, silently contemplating the oddness of the situation. Fate had contacted her an hour earlier to ask if they could have lunch, but instead of their usual routine of stopping at the nearest casual restaurant they had somehow ended up in the park. On a picnic blanket.

And instead of their usual conversation, the younger girl was staring, seemingly transfixed by her food. Her hair was down today, which was out of place considering the summer heat, and tied by the habitual black ribbon.

After three or so minutes of silence, Signum decided enough was enough and ventured forward with a word.

“Not hungry?”

Fate started, having almost forgotten about the need for conversation due to the voices in her head. Voice the 1st was Arisa, who had insisted on Fate wearing a small communication device in her ear so she could give ‘interrogation pointers’. The second was Nanoha, who was radiating amusement even over their current mental link but trying admirably to hide it.

“A-ah, yes, sorry.”

She half-heartedly impaled a piece of meat with her chopsticks, then dropped it back to her plate with a barely audible sigh.

“I- I was wondering, Signum…”

The knight looked back at her questioningly, and she cursed the situation. “That, um…are…”

‘Get on with it already!’ Arisa’s voice buzzed in her ear. ‘It’s too hot to be wearing camouflage gear!’

Good, then let’s all go home, she thought but didn’t say for fear Signum would think she was losing her mind. She fought the urge to make sure her hair was covering the earpiece, instead prodding her unresisting lunch.

Signum blinked. Number five.

‘Fate-chaaaan…’ Nanoha whined, almost making her yelp. ‘I know it’s hard, but could you maybe hurry? It’s really uncomfortable in here…’

Fate chanced a glance at the nearby clump of bushes. She had to hand it to Arisa- that camouflage gear was certainly effective. The only thing stopping her from envying Nanoha her easier job of surveillance was the almost oppressive heat.

“Do you- are you-”

‘IS SHE PART OF HAYATE’S HAREM!? ASK HER!’ came through the earpiece so loudly she winced. She could hear Nanoha apologising profusely, but it didn’t make her feel much better.

Signum was growing increasingly uncomfortable, not to mention worried about Fate’s health. Could the heat be getting to her head?

“This, um…sounds strange, but- no, I am not going to say it like that! Ah, n-no, I mean-”

The Velkan eyed her as if she’d grown a second head. “Testarossa…?”

She can’t be in trouble, can she? No, she wouldn’t come to me… That was an oddly disappointing thought.

Fate clenched her fists, resolved to get the sentence out if it killed her. “P-People…were wondering, if- rather, what…goes on, in your- Hayate’s house-”

Was it just her, or did Signum look awfully apprehensive…?

‘Move the picnic basket to the left, please, Fate-chan. Arisa thinks we don’t have a good enough view of her face.’

And that was Suzuka. Wisely deciding not to question the apparent need for a surveillance camera, she nudged the basket to the right with the side of her hand.

“There’s been some speculation- wild speculation, and, well, would-”

She was certain her face would catch fire if it grew any redder. She steeled herself, finally blurting out: “Does Hayate have a harem?”

The next few seconds, it seemed to her, were impossibly long, and she waited in agonised tension until Signum spoke.

“What put such an idea in your head?”

An almost overpowering relief flooded her, so much so that she was almost taken aback.

“Then…you aren’t…”

The blue eyes looking back at her seemed to hide quiet amusement. “I can say truthfully, Hayate does not have a harem.”

There now, that wasn’t so terrible.

‘Good job, Fate-chan!’

Fate exhaled.

‘Thanks, Nanoha. You should probably wait a while before you try coming out of the bushes-'

“Testarossa…”

Getting a sudden feeling of foreboding from the tone of Signum’s voice, she looked up slowly.

“Is there a monitoring device in the basket?”

‘Testarossa…’

Signum’s breath hits her ear, hot enough to make her shiver and light enough to set all her nerves on end. She half-unconsciously moves her neck further to the side, distantly wondering if her hair is going to end up tangled and keenly aware of the older woman’s hand tracing achingly soft lines on her stomach. The other hand, the right, is currently occupied with holding her wrists against the bed, shaking minutely; whether from nerves or excitement is unclear to her, but driven to distraction as she is by the hand not holding her down the thought seems vastly unimportant.

That teasingly unsteady left hand is following its own path over her abdomen, those strong fingers slowly weaving patterns that could be anything at all, applying just enough pressure to have her on the edge of writhing. And then Signum’s palm is over her breast and she almost forgets to breathe as-

*yawns* That's all, folks. Don't stone me? ^^'' I really have no idea if I can write that presentably at all... *winces* Here's hoping no one's eyes bled.

Edit: page claim for Fignum (hah, again), which is what I'll steadfastly call it until someone comes along with something more catchy. XP

Ding-dong-ding, the sound of the school bell signaling the end of the last period rang. Students pushed back their chairs as they left for home. I too put the last of my books in my bag and left the classroom. Walking down the corridor I felt a tap on my shoulder, and I turned to see one of my best friends smiling at me.

“Meet you at six?” Fate-chan asked me “Hayate already said she could come.”

“Of course!” I answered. I wouldn’t want to miss this for anything.

Fate-chan smiled and waved as she hurried towards her own home, I waved back as I continued walking.

Arriving home, I casually announced my return, knowing that at this time there wouldn’t be anyone but me home. My parents would be too busy managing the store, and my brother and sister would be off studying or working.

A quick glass of milk and a small sandwich were enough for now. We were bound to eat together anyway. I hurried upstairs to get changed and meet my friends.

I know that some may be getting the wrong idea, and imagine me coming down in fancy clothes suited for a night into town.

Heh. As I pulled my blue-white Jersey over my head I couldn’t help but grin. I’d like to see the looks on their faces when they realize what ‘a night out’ means for my friends and myself.

Walking downstairs and into the garage, I smiled at my pride and joy. My dirtbike, white with yellow-white paintjob, a few touches of pink to finish it.

Taking the bike out of the Garage I stepped on and started the engine, I gave a testing boost to the gas and was rewarded with a satisfying whine of the engine.

I smiled as I put on my helmet and stared down the road. The engine was warm, and I was eager to hit the road.

“Let’s go, Raising Heart.”

I yanked my wheel backwards as I took off, the sound of Raising Heart’s engine filled the streets as I was off to meet with my friends.

My name is Takamachi Nanoha, and I’m a biker.

"More," the word was whispered fleetingly as the warm water of the shower beat down on her. Nanoha's wet hair pooled around her, encircling her wet, naked body that Fate hovered over. The warm liquid rolled over the blond's body, dripping heavily down onto her skin as she moved.

A warm, wet hand, sliding over moist skin. A gentle pressure trailing her sides, deep red eyes peering into her soul. Bodies shifted, water trailed more, the sound of the shower drowing the soft moan that escaped the girl on bottom's mouth. Her legs were shaking softly, breath catching as Fate's fingers trailed lower.

Nanoha exhaled again, breathing broken as the excitement mounted. Slippery wet legs were around her, heavy blond hair sticking to her front, and now the feeling of suction was on her neck just as her lover's fingers touched-

Nanoha leaned back against the headboard of her bed, pillows around her feet as she frowned at the doorway to their apartment. Something was missing. Vivio was asleep, Fate would be back from work in a few minutes and they'd be able to take their evening meal together. Everything seemed accounted for, the recruits she was training were a little young but definitely not the worst she'd ever encountered. She was exhausted, but she wanted to stay up and see Fate.

It had been nearly three days since their schedules had intercepted with enough time for them to have more than a hurried 'good morning' over a cup of coffee in the morning. Nanoha missed Fate, she missed how their lives had once been a lot less complicated.

She exhaled, blowing air upwards and through her bangs as listlessness took her. She was so tired, all she wanted to do was sleep, but she had to see Fate. She just had to.

This was getting stupid.

They were young officers, mages, so their ranks went up quickly; but they never got to see each other.

They had a child together.

Nanoha ran a hand through her hair, pulling at the tie and loosening it to the point where her long tail of hair was half-way out of it's side-up pony-tail. She missed the days when they were still in middle school, when she and Fate had been able to spend time together almost whenever they felt like it. She knew that life wasn't fair, that bad things happened to good people, but Nanoha knew that she was close to whining.

She just wanted to see Fate.

She flopped forward, her face landing in one of the pillows that she and Vivio had moved around before their nighttime ritual of working their way through the classics. They were on Dickens - a challenge for Nanoha to read as her skill with English and Mid's languages were mostly supported by a translator spell. She was getting better, reading the books really helped to build her vocabulary; and Vivio loved them.

There was a rattle at the door and Nanoha looked up, blowing her bangs out of her eyes as she watched the Fate-shaped silhouette move through the entry way.

"I'm home," Fate's soft voice called and Nanoha smiled.

Now she could feel happy again.

She sat up, pulling a pillow with her as she blinked her eyes, adjusting to the sudden brightness of their apartment as Fate turned on the downstairs lights. "Welcome back," she said, swinging her legs over the side of the bed and feeling around for her slippers. She found one with no problem, but the other proved elusive and Nanoha decided to simply forgo them both.

She padded down the stairs to where Fate was flipping through the day's mail. "I missed you," she said quietly.

Fate looked confused, "I saw you this morning."

Nanoha nodded. This was true, they'd spent a pleasant ten minutes together that morning after Raising Heart had decided that Nanoha needed to get out of bed. Fate had followed her into the shower and they'd enjoyed each other for a few minutes before Raising Heart started to beep again and Nanoha knew that she was going to be late for her first training session of the day.

She sighed, walking over to Fate and resting her cheek on Fate's shoulder. "I miss being able to have dinner together, and to read to Vivio together," Nanoha muttered into the the black fabric of Fate's uniform. "We've got to work less hours. Vivio misses you almost as much as I do."

Fate patted Nanoha on the back of the head, her fingers slipping through Nanoha's mostly undone hair. "We'll do better, Nanoha, I promise."

Yeah, it's sad how Nanoha and Fate don't get to spend much time together with their jobs / kid / lives and all ):

Staying up all night was nothing new to me. In fact, I could stay up a for a food fifty or sixty hours without sleep and still function normally. I didn't prefer doing this, however, and when the morning came I was pleasantly annoyed to find myself still laying on my bed with my eyes open.

Erio grunted lightly as I moved and slid out of bed. My clothes today were modest, and for once I put on a bra. If I was going to talk to Nanoha seriously, I needed her attention on me instead of my cleavage, which she had a certain...fondness of staring at while talking.

I left my boy a note apologizing yet again for having to go out and promising him a trip to the amusement park later to make up for the lack of fun I have been giving him. I really felt bad leaving him again, but Chrono chose a bad time for me to take care of the lad. Maybe later, if things went well, I could take Nanoha and Caro too since my boy seemed to have taken an instant fondess to the pink haired child.

I chose my bike to ride, enjoying the feeling of the morning wind brush through my hair as I rode. I knew I was early but at the same time, I figured she would be awake. Nanoha's bakery was found after only a few minutes of driving down the early morning's light traffic. The lights were on and I could smell the treats before I even took off my helmet.

Caro greeted me happily at the door and I appeased her by giving small talk while smiling. She was rather cute, and I bought something she recommended to me before asking permission to see her cousin. Surprisingly, she allowed me access to the back of the house without following me and I walked up the stairs to the small living quarters.

Nanoha was sitting on her couch with reading glasses on, pen hastily jotting across the paper in front of her. I could tell she was tired from the light haze over her pretty blue eyes but I still walked forward to sit next to her.

She jumped lightly in surprise when I put my arm around her and I felt a small smile tug at the corner of my mouth. "I'm sorry," I apologized teasingly out of habit.

"No, it's okay." She took off her glasses and rubbed her eyes. "I have a report due tomorrow, I was working on it..." She trailed off slowly, looking back at me.

"Ask," I encouraged her, taking a good sign that she didn't pull away from my hold.

"First..." She took my other hand with both of hers. "I have to tell you something: I believe you." My spirits rose greatly at those small words. "It took me a while, yes, but... I chose this myself after a lot of thinking. Fate-chan, what you are doesn't matter to me... I like Fate-chan for Fate-chan. A girl who is kind to me."

"I'm so happy..." I gave the girl a quick hug, and felt an emotion deep inside that I haven't felt in so very, very long. I truely felt happy right now. Not a good mood, or even just a cheerful moment, but...happy.

I almost wanted to cry.

"Fate-chan," Nanoha pulled away slowly and placed her hands in my lap, looking into my eyes. "Even though I said that... I'm still... a little confused... about exactly what I'm getting in to."

She wanted to be informed, and I couldn't blame her. "It's a long, long story." I whispered to her sadly. "It's not very pleasant either. "

"I made up my mind," she answered me honestly. "I want to know. The good and the bad, what makes the girl in front of me tick." Slowly she brought a hand up to my mouth and I parted my lips for her. To my surprise, she leaned forward and gave me the most gentle kiss ontop of my left fang. "I want to know everything about you..."

I felt a small trail of water leave my eye and I pulled her into a tight hug. She was so caring... so gentle with me...

I don't know what I did to deserve this, but I thank the gods above for blessing me with the girl in my arms.

The journey back was over in what seemed like an instant. Fate shivered as they finally got away from the weather outside. Signum knew Fate didn’t like to appear weak in front of others and opted to gain entrance to her apartment through the balcony.

The guardian knights and Hayate no longer lived in the same home, Hayate had been promoted; Rein obviously went with her. Usually the guardian knights would have been allowed to go along, but circumstances had not allowed it. There was only a small flat available to Hayate until she could find something more accommodating, as such Zafira had opted to watch Hayate in his dog form, as well as Vita. Being small they could live in the flat quite comfortably. Until a new residence was found Shamal had been on a long desired research project in an advanced medical wing of the TSAB. This left Signum on her own in a cosy apartment located near the ground force headquarters for the time being. Allowing ease of transport wherever she needed to go, be it a mission or to aid her friends.

Signum hovered across the living room trying desperately not to get everything completely soaked in the process. She managed to get to the bathroom and gently placed Fate down.

“You should take a bath, you will catch a cold otherwise, I’ll go look at what I can make for dinner” ordered Signum as she started running the rather large oblong bath in front of her.

Fate suddenly looked rather stern and stopped Signum before she could leave the bathroom. “I should take a bath?? Look at you, your worse than I am!”

Signum looked down, seeing the fact that she was not only drenched, but her clothes were in shreds. There was a rather large gaping hole just under her bust where it seemed Bardiche had laid claim, offering a nice view of Signums toned abdomen. It seemed Fate had been more aggressive in their spar than usual.

The pink haired knight looked back at Fates stare and returned it just as fiercely. “It doesn’t matter, you’re the guest, you will go first Testarossa”

Fate wasn’t backing down, suddenly she softened her look. “Will you take a bath together with me? The least I can do is wash your hair and back for what I put you through venting my emotions….”

Fate cast her eyes downwards, catching Signums bare mid-drift before her eyes darted to the nearest seemingly interesting thing as her face coloured slightly.

At this point, Fates feet suddenly felt warm, she looked behind her and saw to her horror that the bath was now over flowing.

“Aghhh!!”

Fate and Signum seemed to both dive for the taps at once, not registering each others movement.

A large splashing sound echoed through the bathroom. Signum opened her eyes first, it was definitely a very precarious position. Somehow Fate had twisted mid-dive ending up face up in the bath with Signum on top, thigh in a very provocative position. Signum’s face coloured darkly as she quickly moved and reached for the tap to turn it off to stop any more water going everywhere.

Fate finally came back out of the trance, colour lighting her cheeks, and then with a slight smirk. “Since you’ve already got in the bath, you may as well finish?”

Signum’s jaw dropped, she hadn’t expected that. Realising she wasn’t going to get out of this she sighed and did a quick face palm.

“Alright Testarossa, you win.”

Fate got back out of the bath, and started taking off what was left of her clothes, Signum was still watching her but suddenly realised what she was doing and turned her back, face flaming.

“At least tell me when your going to start stripping Testarossa!” Fate turned an amused gaze at her rival, never realising she was so shy.

“We’ve bathed together before haven’t we?” she asked innocently.

“Yeah but, but, that was different! Hayate and Vita and others were there!”

“Oh, is Signum having ecchi thoughts?”

Signum turned round sharply, “Of course I’m……………….not”

Signum was greeted with a close up of Fate, barely covered by a white towel, hair loosely flowing down her back, wet clothes piled in the corner. Her brain shut down. She was alone, with Testarossa, naked. Why was this bothering her so much! Granted she’d never taken a bath with just two people before but…but still!

Fate moved closer, Signum moving back reflexively. “Honestly Signum, I never had you picked out to be a pervert….” Fates smirk was getting bigger and Signum realised if she did not get a witty remark back she was not going to live this down. Fate knew she had her on the ropes, she always liked teasing Signum, she was uptight so much of the time.

“You’re the one whose being the pervert Testarossa, I don’t wear those skimpy bikinis at the beach flaunting everything I’ve got!”

Fate seemed to take it in her stride. “Oh, so you noticed?”

Signum had no reply to that one.

“Lets just get the bath over with alright!” Signum pushed past Fate and slowly started slipping off the remnants of her clothes. Face like a cherry.

Having her back turned, Signum missed the prominent blush on Fate.

Signum, proceeded to then get in the bath while Fates back was turned, the warm water soaking up to just below her neck. She let out a satisfied sigh. She looked up at Fate as she walked towards her. Realising what she was going to do, Signum quickly moved her eyes to the cabinet on the wall, as it seemed to be very interesting to her at this moment in time as she heard a small sound of a towel dropping to the floor.

Signum then noticed that the cabinet that held her attention also had a conveniently placed mirror that gave a nice view of the aces derrière. She jerked her head away only to startle Fate who was half in half out and now losing balance. Fate let out a small squeak as she began falling.

The second splash of the evening soon followed and Fate found herself sitting in-between Signums legs with her back facing her.

“What did you jerk away for!!! Mou! Signum!”

Signum was lost for words. “I…er..you see, I had something in my eye” she lamely finished. Yeah, an eyeful of Testarossas rear end. She thought to herself. Blushing heavily.

Signum found her current situation, a little distracting. It was fairly intimate. Not used to having anyone other than Hayate in such a similar position, and it had been a long time since that too.

Fate shifted slightly, causing a slight gasp to be emitted from Signum.

“erm, Signum, can I err, lean on you a little, erm my backs killing me….”

Signum caught on to what Fate meant, she was just sitting in-between her legs like a child. Gently, so as not to alarm her, Signum put her hands on Fates shoulders and gradually eased her backwards.

Signum was now at the very edge of her comfort zone. Testarossa was with her, alone, in a bath, naked, leaning on her chest and sitting between her legs. Anything more and a a hemorrhage was likely to occur.

Fate seemed oblivious to the pink knights thoughts. Contentedly contained by Signums legs, the warmth and softness of the body behind her, she began to relax. This wasn’t the same as with Nanoha, Fate was always the one on the outside, protecting Nanoha, no wonder she liked it so much. Fate felt a sharp pang in her heart at the thought. Nanoha…… she shook her head, now was not the time.

Fate suddenly felt the woman behind her shift and felt a strange substance on her head. She was about to turn around questioningly when Signum answered.

“Washing your hair, its good shampoo, Shamal recommended it”

Fates lips curled into a smile, as her head was slowly massaged, not many people knew her hair was a secret spot of relaxation for her, it made her snuggle the closest object. She unconsciously pushed herself further back into Signum causing some rather strange sensations to the velka knight.

“Te….Te-starossa! Sit still!” Signum was flailing madly behind the lighning mage as it seemed like Fate was using her own body as a cleaning device.

“Ah sorry!!” Fate flushed, “er…habit…erm….hair……nice…..feel good” Fate could only splutter incoherent words as Signum slowly started shampooing again.

This was going to be a long night Signum thought.

The rest of the time in the bathroom was fairly un-evetful, a comfortable silence even. The only embarrassing incident following was when Fate was washing Signums hair, and had to switch places.

Signum felt like a child with Fate behind her washing her hair, but at the same time took pleasure in being a little pampered for a change. When was the last time someone washed her hair? She let out a contented sigh causing Fate to smile a little.

“Like that?”

“I er, ah just haven’t taken a bath with someone else for a while…” Signum looked away sheepishly. Fate pulled Signum back against her, easily sliding across the base of the bath.

“Eh??! Testar-”

“Thank you”

“…..What for?”

“For being there, for letting me stay, for a lot of things” Fate rested her cheek on Signums back. As if trying to will her gratitude into her rivals body.

Signum didn’t really know what to say. “Ah,er.. not a problem Testarossa that’s what I’m here for I…”

“Fate”

“What?”

“Call me Fate”

“Fate..” Signum was surprised from the sudden sentimentality of the conversation but obliged her anyway. After saying her name Fate tightened her hold just a little, it was hardly noticeable, but Signum picked up on it.

Next thing Signum knew, a bucket of water was splashed on her head causing her to splutter out what had got in her mouth.

Fate chuckled “Ah sorry, were you not ready?”

Signum could only shake her head. As they finished up in the bath before getting out.

Ok that was long, very drabbly and full of blush overload. I'm still not quite sure where im taking this, i haven't even got a title yet! any suggestions? I tried to make it a bit more believable, I think i got Signum down, but maybe made Fate a little over confident? gah ! *runs and hides from overkill fluffyness *

The journey back was over in what seemed like an instant. Fate shivered as they finally got away from the weather outside. Signum knew Fate didn’t like to appear weak in front of others and opted to gain entrance to her apartment through the balcony.

The guardian knights and Hayate no longer lived in the same home, Hayate had been promoted; Rein obviously went with her. Usually the guardian knights would have been allowed to go along, but circumstances had not allowed it. There was only a small flat available to Hayate until she could find something more accommodating, as such Zafira had opted to watch Hayate in his dog form, as well as Vita. Being small they could live in the flat quite comfortably. Until a new residence was found Shamal had been on a long desired research project in an advanced medical wing of the TSAB. This left Signum on her own in a cosy apartment located near the ground force headquarters for the time being. Allowing ease of transport wherever she needed to go, be it a mission or to aid her friends.

Signum hovered across the living room trying desperately not to get everything completely soaked in the process. She managed to get to the bathroom and gently placed Fate down.

“You should take a bath, you will catch a cold otherwise, I’ll go look at what I can make for dinner” ordered Signum as she started running the rather large oblong bath in front of her.

Fate suddenly looked rather stern and stopped Signum before she could leave the bathroom. “I should take a bath?? Look at you, your worse than I am!”

Signum looked down, seeing the fact that she was not only drenched, but her clothes were in shreds. There was a rather large gaping hole just under her bust where it seemed Bardiche had laid claim, offering a nice view of Signums toned abdomen. It seemed Fate had been more aggressive in their spar than usual.

The pink haired knight looked back at Fates stare and returned it just as fiercely. “It doesn’t matter, you’re the guest, you will go first Testarossa”

Fate wasn’t backing down, suddenly she softened her look. “Will you take a bath together with me? The least I can do is wash your hair and back for what I put you through venting my emotions….”

Fate cast her eyes downwards, catching Signums bare mid-drift before her eyes darted to the nearest seemingly interesting thing as her face coloured slightly.

At this point, Fates feet suddenly felt warm, she looked behind her and saw to her horror that the bath was now over flowing.

“Aghhh!!”

Fate and Signum seemed to both dive for the taps at once, not registering each others movement.

A large splashing sound echoed through the bathroom. Signum opened her eyes first, it was definitely a very precarious position. Somehow Fate had twisted mid-dive ending up face up in the bath with Signum on top, thigh in a very provocative position. Signum’s face coloured darkly as she quickly moved and reached for the tap to turn it off to stop any more water going everywhere.

Fate finally came back out of the trance, colour lighting her cheeks, and then with a slight smirk. “Since you’ve already got in the bath, you may as well finish?”

Signum’s jaw dropped, she hadn’t expected that. Realising she wasn’t going to get out of this she sighed and did a quick face palm.

“Alright Testarossa, you win.”

Fate got back out of the bath, and started taking off what was left of her clothes, Signum was still watching her but suddenly realised what she was doing and turned her back, face flaming.

“At least tell me when your going to start stripping Testarossa!” Fate turned an amused gaze at her rival, never realising she was so shy.

“We’ve bathed together before haven’t we?” she asked innocently.

“Yeah but, but, that was different! Hayate and Vita and others were there!”

“Oh, is Signum having ecchi thoughts?”

Signum turned round sharply, “Of course I’m……………….not”

Signum was greeted with a close up of Fate, barely covered by a white towel, hair loosely flowing down her back, wet clothes piled in the corner. Her brain shut down. She was alone, with Testarossa, naked. Why was this bothering her so much! Granted she’d never taken a bath with just two people before but…but still!

Fate moved closer, Signum moving back reflexively. “Honestly Signum, I never had you picked out to be a pervert….” Fates smirk was getting bigger and Signum realised if she did not get a witty remark back she was not going to live this down. Fate knew she had her on the ropes, she always liked teasing Signum, she was uptight so much of the time.

“You’re the one whose being the pervert Testarossa, I don’t wear those skimpy bikinis at the beach flaunting everything I’ve got!”

Fate seemed to take it in her stride. “Oh, so you noticed?”

Signum had no reply to that one.

“Lets just get the bath over with alright!” Signum pushed past Fate and slowly started slipping off the remnants of her clothes. Face like a cherry.

Having her back turned, Signum missed the prominent blush on Fate.

Signum, proceeded to then get in the bath while Fates back was turned, the warm water soaking up to just below her neck. She let out a satisfied sigh. She looked up at Fate as she walked towards her. Realising what she was going to do, Signum quickly moved her eyes to the cabinet on the wall, as it seemed to be very interesting to her at this moment in time as she heard a small sound of a towel dropping to the floor.

Signum then noticed that the cabinet that held her attention also had a conveniently placed mirror that gave a nice view of the aces derrière. She jerked her head away only to startle Fate who was half in half out and now losing balance. Fate let out a small squeak as she began falling.

The second splash of the evening soon followed and Fate found herself sitting in-between Signums legs with her back facing her.

“What did you jerk away for!!! Mou! Signum!”

Signum was lost for words. “I…er..you see, I had something in my eye” she lamely finished. Yeah, an eyeful of Testarossas rear end. She thought to herself. Blushing heavily.

Signum found her current situation, a little distracting. It was fairly intimate. Not used to having anyone other than Hayate in such a similar position, and it had been a long time since that too.

Fate shifted slightly, causing a slight gasp to be emitted from Signum.

“erm, Signum, can I err, lean on you a little, erm my backs killing me….”

Fate seemed oblivious to the pink knights thoughts. Contentedly contained by Signums legs, the warmth and softness of the body behind her, she began to relax. This wasn’t the same as with Nanoha, Fate was always the one on the outside, protecting Nanoha, no wonder she liked it so much. Fate felt a sharp pang in her heart at the thought. Nanoha…… she shook her head, now was not the time.

Fate suddenly felt the woman behind her shift and felt a strange substance on her head. She was about to turn around questioningly when Signum answered.

“Washing your hair, its good shampoo, Shamal recommended it”

Fates lips curled into a smile, as her head was slowly massaged, not many people knew her hair was a secret spot of relaxation for her, it made her snuggle the closest object. She unconsciously pushed herself further back into Signum causing some rather strange sensations to the velka knight.

“Te….Te-starossa! Sit still!” Signum was flailing madly behind the lighning mage as it seemed like Fate was using her own body as a cleaning device.

“Ah sorry!!” Fate flushed, “er…habit…erm….hair……nice…..feel good” Fate could only splutter incoherent words as Signum slowly started shampooing again.

This was going to be a long night Signum thought.

The rest of the time in the bathroom was fairly un-evetful, a comfortable silence even. The only embarrassing incident following was when Fate was washing Signums hair, and had to switch places.

Signum felt like a child with Fate behind her washing her hair, but at the same time took pleasure in being a little pampered for a change. When was the last time someone washed her hair? She let out a contented sigh causing Fate to smile a little.

“Like that?”

“I er, ah just haven’t taken a bath with someone else for a while…” Signum looked away sheepishly. Fate pulled Signum back against her, easily sliding across the base of the bath.

“Eh??! Testar-”

“Thank you”

“…..What for?”

“For being there, for letting me stay, for a lot of things” Fate rested her cheek on Signums back. As if trying to will her gratitude into her rivals body.

Signum didn’t really know what to say. “Ah,er.. not a problem Testarossa that’s what I’m here for I…”

“Fate”

“What?”

“Call me Fate”

“Fate..” Signum was surprised from the sudden sentimentality of the conversation but obliged her anyway. After saying her name Fate tightened her hold just a little, it was hardly noticeable, but Signum picked up on it.

Next thing Signum knew, a bucket of water was splashed on her head causing her to splutter out what had got in her mouth.

Fate chuckled “Ah sorry, were you not ready?”

Signum could only shake her head. As they finished up in the bath before getting out.

Erio is Amy's son, and Chrono's son-in-law. Amy is pregnant with the twins which will be vampires.

Oi, Satashi, I just had a random thought regarding fan-fiction; for all the new members out there (myself included) who don't really know all the abbrevations and terms (OOC, OC, fluff etc)
wouldn't it be nice if we had a sort of "Wiki/explainer" in the index explaining all the words?

I was thinking of doing one with information from Wikipedia but I want a clear "go" before I start anything.

Yes that's the one, but I thought of rewriting it and only include the things that concerns fan-fiction on this forum and also making it easier to understand and read. (Totally unneccesary but fun)

Ah Sorry i misunderstood, i thought you said you wanted one like wikpedia, not that you want to take the information from wikipedia and make a custom one. *feels stupid*

I think a concise one would be good personally, i only actually worked out a little while ago what OOC and OC meant! (google define: saved the day) So i think adding a spoiler tag to a post on the first page or something with that info would be great. Myself as a beginner would find it useful, as im sure there are many terms i still dont know.

Might also be useful to state official pairing titles? Fignum / Fatenum so people know what they are when they read??

Since Vampire!Fate is on hold until Fate's backstory is complete.... have some random fic!

' It was okay, right? I mean...everyone gets curious sometime don't they? ' The words went through sixteen year old Vivio's mind repeatedly as she sat down in front of the computer desk in her living room. Nanoha was at the base still and Fate was probably with her. The only time she could have some privacy was now, in the little amount of time she was alone after school.

Her hands lifted and the screens appeared in front of her at once, automatically loading her desktop and settings. A few 'buttons' were pressed and a web browser popped up, displaying her home page featuring her current favorite boy band. 'It's okay... it's natural...

Slowly she typed in the search bar, taking her time despite it only being a three letter word. 'sex' was looked at for a few moments before glancing over her shoulder a few moments. The enter key was tapped and the results came immediately.

A light blush tinted her lips as she read and finally a nervous hand tapped the link that interested her the most. Several pictures came up, making her glow darker, but still she pressed on. Mis-colored eyes read the text quickly, sometimes darting to look around again before going back to the erotic tales of lovers.

'So that's what its all about...' She realized, feeling better now that she fully understood how the intercourse took place. 'Now I won't be so nervous and jittery during sex education at school... phew, I thought this was going to be something really bad.' A content laugh came from her lips and she leaned forward, resting her cheek on her palm as she continued to read about the topic with more curiosity than nervousness now.

I chose my bike to ride, enjoying the feeling of the morning wind brush through my hair as I rode. I knew I was early but at the same time, I figured she would be awake. Nanoha's bakery was found after only a few minutes of driving down the early morning's light traffic. The lights were on and I could smell the treats before I even took off my helmet.

Caro greeted me happily at the door and I appeased her by giving small talk while smiling. She was rather cute, and I bought something she recommended to me before asking permission to see her cousin. Surprisingly, she allowed me access to the back of the house without following me and I walked up the stairs to the small living quarters.

Nanoha was sitting on her couch with reading glasses on, pen hastily jotting across the paper in front of her. I could tell she was tired from the light haze over her pretty blue eyes but I still walked forward to sit next to her.

She jumped lightly in surprise when I put my arm around her and I felt a small smile tug at the corner of my mouth. "I'm sorry," I apologized teasingly out of habit.

"No, it's okay." She took off her glasses and rubbed her eyes. "I have a report due tomorrow, I was working on it..." She trailed off slowly, looking back at me.

"Ask," I encouraged her, taking a good sign that she didn't pull away from my hold.

"First..." She took my other hand with both of hers. "I have to tell you something: I believe you." My spirits rose greatly at those small words. "It took me a while, yes, but... I chose this myself after a lot of thinking. Fate-chan, what you are doesn't matter to me... I like Fate-chan for Fate-chan. A girl who is kind to me."

"I'm so happy..." I gave the girl a quick hug, and felt an emotion deep inside that I haven't felt in so very, very long. I truely felt happy right now. Not a good mood, or even just a cheerful moment, but...happy.

I almost wanted to cry.

"Fate-chan," Nanoha pulled away slowly and placed her hands in my lap, looking into my eyes. "Even though I said that... I'm still... a little confused... about exactly what I'm getting in to."
