Seems like a complete rip off of this but I don't speak German so I can't tell if the lyrics are the same or not.

It is the same tune, but i think the lyrics are different. No offense to TI fans but it was a pretty bad song. Lyrics were pretty poor by TI the tune was too poppy and other then Rhianna it was a shocker But that's me.

Anybody heard Reflection Eternal's new album? I really liked it; Kweli was masterful(as usual) and Hi-Tek production was sublime.

I'm working on it. I want to finish get Blackout! 1 & 2 and get Wu-Massacre first, then I'll get it.

Well, I wish to fight the power. Are there any songs or rappers that are as epic as Public Enemy sang (also the version in TTGL)

It's all about preference. I think there many great artists still producing music worth listening to. They may not get airplay but they're there.

The most obvious choices would be Immortal Technique and Dead Prez.

There is also Cannibal Ox, which isn't 'Fight the Power' really, but the pictures their lyrics portray are rather bleak.

Rip to Big L indeed, Guru from gang starr aswell.

Just recently bought Vinnie paz Season of the Assassin album.I was really amazed by Same story very deep and emotional from such a hard head. Im not insulting him I love his work in Jedi Mind Tricks and Aotp. Anyone who likes a deep flow and meaningful raps listen to them and vinnie.

I enjoy more underground hip-hop than anything. Mostly the artists affiliated with Stoupe's beats, like Vinnie Paz[Official Pistol Gang founder], Outerspace, Non Phixion, etc. I also really like R.A. the Rugged Man.
