Made it to play HD videos and render them- the memory's mostly going into working several Adobe programs at once without having to close Skype, iTunes, etc.

But hey, I did need an excuse to actually try out some PC gaming, so why the hell not? :3

I got an i5 because it turns out that my 'intense multitasking' was at most limited to playing a game while listening to a playlist, and I don't really do that combo much anymore either
The 8 gigs RAM I have come in handy when burning discs or even less frequent encoding. Could've lived with 4 gigs but extra is always good especially with newer games.

I got up that morning, and went to buy zip ties, new utility knife, and a roll of mounting tape.

"OMG WE GOT AWESOME SALES!!!!!@(#)$*)@#@"
"dude I'm just here to buy like roll of tape."

Ignored all the holiday shoppers, got my junk and left.

Never even heard of "Cyber Monday" until recently. Going to check on the prices then as well.

With all of those things, are you trying to kidnap someone?

Those are post-kidnapping supplies. Meaning someone's already been kidnapped.

black friday and cyber monday this year was horrible for anything tech related. the prices weren't that outstanding for well-known brands. only the cheap and no name brands got a pretty big discount. i keep expecting something good like the 42" panasonic plasma from 2010 for $299. well... at least i got a pair of new shoes since there is no waiting in line for those.

Wouldn't be the first time I got visits from spirits.
And btw, you may have guessed but I AM a bah-humbug kind of guy.

That would be duct tape, silly! Mounting tape won't do much to hold a child.
Besides, I already got my supply of duct tape a month ago.

I've been busy rigging my glass shelvings for all the 1/8 scale hostages I recently kidnapped from Amazon.co.jp and AmiAmi.
