I grew up with 16 year olds, so I'd know. Barely any of the girls I know kept growing after 12 years old, let alone 16.

It's possible Nozaki could be 6'4-6'6 when he's in college. Nozaki definitely isn't an average height Japanese male. Bye-bye Sakura *splat*.

People find Nozaki funny because he is serious in a weird way, though I can sympathize with Chiyo, he is way too dense. His manga can be good without skewing to the weird tangent was mostly thanks to Ken-san after all.

Yeah, I'm kind of disappointed Crunchy didn't translate the character settings Nozaki wrote for each girl.

ah, I just love this series. it made me laugh the right and not exagerated way. the comedy is done right. poor chiyo. can't take a break from nozaki's 24/7 professional manga artist way. even in the date and the gift. though I would like to see chiyo in sailor uniform

My mother is 5'2" while my father is 6'2"

Not quite as much distance separating them, but I don't have a problem with the height distance.

As for why Chiyo is still fixated on Nozoki, well she built up this fantasy that drove her on for a while. Now that she knows her fantasy was a lie... well I think it's a mixture of being a romantic and refusing to give up her first love, and that Nozoki needs her.

Didn't you see the scene where Chiyo is watching TV and says she relates to the woman who can't leave her man who she is supporting?

Am I the only one who thinks Sakura would go better with Mikoshiba? I mean right now their interactions come off as way more natural and she's pretty much the only girl he interacts with frequently barring Kashima. That and she's pretty much the one female to comment on how much of a pain in the ass his fake charm is.
