Hey. Have a vague recollection of a dubbed anime from back in the nineties. It was one depressing episode in particular that I recall.

It involved some Venus Fly Trap monster of the week, a whole bunch of them, who only targeted women. Some chick from the protagonists got eaten by one. Anywho, some old dude had one behind glass, but he cut his fingertip and bled on it, causing it to wither. He figured out the cure from this and got a dude from the protagonists to fly an airplane spreading the cure over all the plants.

However, this causes that chick to die, painfully, in a fetal position. And he sees her before him, a still transparent spread over the sky, giggling as she says "Let's go save the world!" A real depressing episode.

Cannot for the life of me recall what the anime was. Help?

Hi guys, I've been trying to remember the name of a series I watched ages ago. I'll do my best to remember some of the key bits of the series and hopefully someone will be able to remind me of the name.

The main protagonist is a woman who's being chased for some reason (can't remember exactly why) but she's being protected by various people close to her family. One such person happens to be a childhood friend. He's very smart, and rather chivalrous this friend, sacrificing himself to let her escape. He's captured and tortured, and eventually gets out.

The protagonist is close friends with a pricess of some sort, and ends up in a prestigious all girls school, and is challenged by the local equivalent of the student council. She trains in fencing in order to challenge the council, and the boy sneaks into the school in drag, and there's a touching scene where she finds out that he was tortured.

She almost marries the wrong guy for security, but eventually she works out that she loves him, he dissapears for a while and she's distrought. When he returns they finally acknowledge one another, yada yada.

I know I've missed huge chunks of story out here, but I'm hoping thats enough of the plot to remind someone of the name. Thanks in advance guys, this has been bugging me all night.

The first one is definitely Bleach. Not sure about the others... While the characters look pretty much exactly like some of the characters from Bleach there too, I just can't recall ever seeing any shots of them that were anything like that...
