I just wish they'd let the franchise rest in peace.

I'm pretty cool with them doing more Geass, espically since Taniguchi and Co set up a pretty interesting world and history for it that could be expanded upon, and as I mentioned before, Taniguchi was pretty disappointed with how aspects of R2 turned out and has made apologies to the fans for it, so if he is able to make something that not only makes up for that, but exceeds it, then I think everybody wins. Besides, something has to air after FMA:Brotherhood ends in the Summer .

I don't think we'll get a "remake" but rather a retelling, if that, which could be considered as taking place in an alternate universe and may or may not involve the same cast and basic plot. It could go in a completely different direction. That's what I'd speculate about at the moment.
Still, a sequel, side story or even prequel isn't entirely unlikely depending on the format. That option remains. These new teaser images don't really give us a lot of information, so I'd rather wait until the end of the month for something more substantial. |

I'm with Meatrose, let it rest. I would choose to keep Rai a spinoff if it meant ruining the series...
It would be nice, though. But I have to guess if they did do it, it might be susceptible to too much change. I think it should rest, but they should have a chance to do right and make R2 better. I've never condoned them into making an R3 scenario... I just accepted it as a possibility. Thing is, they might screw up even given that one chance. It is possible, since Rolo brings all sorts of back karma with him. I just hope there isn't any series degeneration going on. CG is very epic, I'd hate to see it put against the same wall as certain animes that tend to do only filler arcs. It can't be that bad, can it? Just join your hands and pray.... and hopefully have Okouchi answer with all of our wishes. I'm more interested at the moment of whether or not they will be doing a Lost Colors R2, or if they will do that Code Geass game for the wii that was rumored. You know, VG-wise Still, SRW may be all we are getting, and that isn't -solely- Code Geass. |

So you say, but still...
THE. SUSPENSE. IS. KILLING. ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!! ... ... ...Yeah, I think that summarizes how most people here are feeling right now. And seriously, it had had BETTER be at least more than JUST 15 STINKING MINUTES! (Sorry, I'm just in a very emotional, and impatient, mood right now.) Edit: ...Sorry...typed minutes instead of seconds by mistake...Yeah...Yeah... Last edited by Eternal Dreamer; 2010-04-07 at 19:31. |

Yeah, I understand that...but still...15 SECONDS!? Really, I'm gonna SCREAM if that's all they give us. It's been so long since we've seen real new clips for Code Geass...The least they could do is give us more than 30 seconds! (Though, knowing how Sunrise and the rest of the world works, my hopes are already sinking...)
And I really hope they manage to upload and sub the whole Kiseki no Birthday quickly. Even if it turns out to be nothing more than a twisted parody, at least it will be SOMETHING new to watch from Code Geass. |
