Haru just got painted a bullseye on her back.
Those girls have deadly skills. Without Azuma, she doesn't stand a change. On the other hand I felt sorry for Haru. I seriously doubt she deserved to be the victim here. Those hints about her past are very intriguing. It's hard to tell if she was the victim then as well. Or is she just hiding/repressing her true self... who knows. Hope she's a more complex character then the one she is now. Takechi took the first turn at Haru. It was awesome watching Azuma fight her. Can't wait to see more!

Maybe she's hiding something under her uniform that shocked Takechi.
But anyways, that's one assassin down and 10 more to go. I'm thinking that they'll do an original ending to see who survived as assassins come crashing down. @Esclair I agree with you. She lived her life as an assassin, didn't kill someone, and then acted like a buffoon when Haru is in danger. I think Tokaku needs to sharpen her senses. |

im getting a sneaky suspicion we're going to get an anime original ending with this.
they really are going to have to cut out or squeeze as much material as possible, if we're going to have to give the girls some focus. just taking a look at the total cast, each one gets their own episode. unless we get joint back story for some girls, which means that we could gain an extra 1 or 2 episode for a breather. manga chapters though seem really short, they ought to have done it like the arachnid manga where we get 50+ pages for a chapter every month or 2. it just really feels disconcerting and offputting with the chapter ending soon without much being done at all.

Knowing her classmates get killed if they fail would be a pretty good reason for her to feel that way. Quote:

From the episodes so far.
Just random musings. 1) Takechi's reaction to cutting Nio's ribbon off and being shocked. Nio is actually a guy? 2) Whetever the assassins that fail are killed off or not, I can't decide either way. Or really care atm. Even given the symbolism of it being used for someone deceased, its also a symbolism of someone just "leaving the game" Biggest weird thing for me is how come the teacher doesn't react to it, since he's not aware of the game, he wouldn't get the 'leaving the game' mark, so he would think it be the first one. 3) I think the teacher is in on it despite them saying he's a normal. Scene in episode stays with me with how Tokaku made a note on why she didn't sense him coming up behind her. Teacher is a ninja.

Something that is bugging me, do the phoned-in riddles have anything to do with the specific episode? If they do, then that part has completely whizzed past me.
Does seem to me that there is more to leaving the game than just being sent back to where ever they came from. Also, it really is beginning to appear that there is much more to Haru than meets the eye. Not so much the innocent as she seems. |

Nio's character status states she's D-cup, and she has ahoge. The third episode shows the failed assassin will be transferred. It could be the Higurashi reference. The "transfer" maybe just a joke. It could be a euphemism for death or incarceration. The losing challenger's fate is not definite. It probably means her existence is evaporated in the world. Nio must be skillful to handle the transfer.

This seems like it would be a violation of rule 2, since what happens if any students outside of Class Black are in the library doing research or studying? And how are they going to explain away the library blowing up? A gas leak? Oh well, I hope the book cases topple via the domino effect.
