I always love when people say they hate filler, but like it when it's about their favorite characters. As if somehow made up filler about Neji and the Hyuuga is better than Naruto and Choji battling cooking ninja. Or whatever wacky filler plot Studio Pierrot comes up with.
Which shows that filler is not really the issue when fans complain about it. It's who is in the filler. |

Certainly some of the better filler. Can agree characters play a role, but also depends on whether the story is stupid or not. In this case showing some character development for Neji wasn't bad. Let us see a bit of his thinking between the loss to Naruto and going on that Sasuke rescue mission. Fairly impressive that Neji could even fight that well considering the injuries he took in the match.
Thought it was nice to show some change in his uncle with him actually going in personally to rescue Neji.
