I suppose it's lucky that I'm not a Shirley fan... But I can't say that I feel happy about her death either

. I expect a feeling of sadness on my part through this episode.. though not a pit of despair.

Definitely going to be something heart breaking like her saving him, then forgiving him for all the crap he's done and then confessing and dying

At least we should all be grateful for the magazine spoiler. Don't want to think what it would be like if we just got hit by it without any warning.

As I see it, Suzaku's "live" Geass may be the cause. Orenji-jiji gets both him and Shirley into a dangerous situation, and by obeying his Geass, he doomed Shirley.

Also, her death could be how Lulu deduced the presence of the Anti-Geass.

we won't get those spoilers till next Monday(I believe the spoilers come on the 7th of every month) Shirley's death will take place in the next episode which is Sunday.

I think we'll get the Geass Cult mini-arc and some bits on the next arc/mini-arc.

Probably, yeah. We still don't have the summary of episode 15 for example, so thet's where we could get it. As well as some crumbs of the bread that'll be called the next arc...

I do anyway. The spoilers had said Suzaku would do something that would make him want to kill himself.

I know it said that Shirely died for Geass and Lulu sets off to destroy the Cult, however V.V. and Oranges actions were indirectly responsible for what happened. If they had just left Shirely alone and not restored her memories alot of heart break could be avoided.

I hope you orange and V.V. die in the most painfull ways possible because they are just complete bastards

He doesn't have a reason to kill her however I believe it will be similar to the Euphie incident in which he might not have any choice but his hate would rise tenfold sadly of the blind ambitions of Suzaku haters who are desperate for a reason to hate him more and forget Lelouch had to do the same thing

Expect summaries up to episode 17 in the next Newtype. Maybe a title for episode 18 in the other magazines.

I abselutely agree with this, just as the Euphie accident. but this timing it will be Suzaku who will kill Lelouch's girlfriend.

Not exactly. Each arc spans about 3 episodes from the looks of it - The China arc was 9-11 and the Geass-arc will probably be 13-15 (with 12 being a sort of standalone episode that provides buildup for the Geass-arc)

First of all she didn't survive

Secondly she is a bit too naive unlike Lacus
Thirdly she doesn't sing

If we had not known we'd still be discussing it here after the episode aired with answers like : 'Omg Shirley is dead' biggest news since Dumbledore's death
