lol of course not I liked a lot of things in a's and I think it was the best season, Although it has been a while since I watched it but the plot was great I actually watched the first episodes of a's before season one at first so yeah I few things spoiled season one for me especially things related to fate and her past (just to clarify that was when i first got into the series and i thought that a's was season 1)

Finally finished re-watching this show last week, took about 2 months, was watching so much anime last season plus work and real life made me really busy.

I decided to wait another week until I saw Reflection to post this, kill 2 birds with 1 stone as they both focus on the A's.

First off it has one of the best openings I have ever heard.
I still remember how blown away I was the very first time I heard it, I listened to it again a couple more times later, and still do everyone now and then.

Spoiler for Episode 1:

So we being with a new Girl in a wheelchair and all of a sudden a mysterious book just starts emitting magical powers.

There's our Nanoha, didn't take long, this magic control shooting looks like a good excercise, probably a bit tiring too trying to hit 100 in a row. I like how she mentions not being a normal 3rd grade, you can definitely say that again.

Cool there's the rest of the cast, Fate, Chrono, Arf, Yuuno, Lindy ect, discussing what could and could not happen during Fate's trial.

Yeah it's a bit hard for Hayate to grab books high up, luckily Suzuka is there to help out and become friendly with her.

Another girl in red clothes plus an animal holding that magic book in Hayate's room, and then boom she attacks Nanoha on site, it was a fairly even fight until this girl uses the cartridge system she has.

That fight turned around so quickly, Nanoha is defeated and Raising Heart badly damaged but thankfully Fate is too the rescue, not quite the reunion we expected but glad to see those 2 together again.

Spoiler for Episode 2:

Yes Suzuka & Arisa are very happy to be able to meet Fate soon.

Yuuno & Arf are now helping out during this battle, they were getting the upper hand but Signum who we saw as one of Hayate's caretakers earlier has now joined the battle and Zafira is similar to Arf, now human form.

Fate didn't have much luck against Signum's cartridge system, Bardiche is also very damaged, we also learn what the opponents are using is called Belka, an ancient style of magic.

Nanoha was so close to getting off that Starlight Breaker, she tried really hard but Shamal got to her first and drained her of her magic and it went inside the book.

Things are very serious here, especially how Chrono pointed out that he knows that lost logia book.

Spoiler for Episode 3:

Nanoha seems to be ok but we learn her Linker Core was shrunk a lot by Shamal but it will heal eventually, good thing is we do get to see a proper reunion with her and Fate.
While we see the damage to the devices, Chrono tells us more about Belka types and their cartridge system.

Oh Fate actually got a decent hit on Signum, Lindy wants to adbot Fate that's cool, they have set up base close to Nanoha and both Arf & Yuuno are now back in animal forms, Arf looks funny as a cute dog,They get to be with Suzuka & Arisa once again plus Lindy meets Nanoha's parents, and also they kinda recognize Arf as a dog, same colour as before just smaller and a lot cuter.

I'm worried about the power this book of darkness has after what Chrono said about it, it's halfway complete according to the knights, he also talked a bit about the belka system.

The Intelligent Devices showed us just how intelligent they actually are, they want Belka Cartridge system so they can fight on even ground with the knights and to protect Nanoha & Fate.

Spoiler for Episode 4:

When you see Hayate & the knight's together you would think that they are a normal functioning family, Fate has joined the same class as the other 3, they get to be together a lot more from now on.
Shamal can make more cartridges when required, it's a big help for them but a big hassle for our magical girls, they are taking down large beasts in order to fill more pages so they will need those spares.

Hayate's condition according to the doctor is a pretty bad one, sad to see someone like that suffering so much.

Chrono attacking both Vita & Zafira, the best part of course is when Fate & Nanoha show up and set up for the first time with the new forms of Raising Heart & Bardiche.

Spoiler for Episode 5:

Nanoha VS Vita, Fate VS Signum & Arf Vs Zafira one more time, cartridge load activated.
All that control practice Nanoha did in the 1st episode really helped out here against Vita.
Ah Chrono almost had Shamal, unfortunately that mysterious masked person attacked him and helped all the knights escape, either way those were some really good fights, they all managed to hold their own this time around with their new devices.

I'm glad that Hayate likes Suzuka's cats, I love cats, and as for Hayate, those knights aren't actually human but created magical and want her to be the master of the book of darkness.

Spoiler for Episode 6:

Book opening scene from the 1st episode where the knights appear, funny moment afterwards seeing Hayate passed out from shock like that, i probably would too.

We have a lot of nice flashbacks of Hayte & the knights, unfortunately we also learn that Hayate's condition is very serious and her life is in danger due to the curse of the book of darkness.

Learning about all of this does make feel sympathy for the knights and not dislike them, they know what they are doing is not right but want to save Hayate no matter what, after all Hayate treated them really well and not as tools like their previous masters did.

Spoiler for Episode 7:

Lindy bought Fate a phone so she could communicate with everyone, very cool.

No wonder it's called the infinite library, it seems to go on forever, I doubt one could read everything in there during a lifetime, good luck Yuuno.

It's not like an emergency is going to happen soon oh wait.

Fate of all people to rescue Signum form that monster, and then naturally they fight each other, it was pretty good to watch, as expected.

The was a pretty cool Divine Buster by Nanoha but Vita was saved by the mysterious masked being, and now it's Fate's turn to get her core linker shrunk, I hope she will be ok.

Spoiler for Episode 8:

Oh no Hayate went down due to the Book, Fate is ok, Lindy there being a mother.

Ah so the book is actually Tome of the Night Sky but is corrupted.

The knights finding out that Suzuka is friends with Nanoha & Fate was always going to happen at some point, they are still fighting hard for Hayate's sake, after seeing Shamal break down like that, I want to cheer them on so they can save her.

Spoiler for Episode 9:

It happened as expected, Nanoha, Fate and the knights all meet in real life due to the circle of friends, only natural a fight would break out afterwards, I really like that part where Nanoha emerges from the flames and accepts being called a devil by Vita.

I like this new Sonic Form Fate has, less armor but makes her a lot faster.
The masked person appears again, except now there's 2 of them, binds everyone including the knights and then uses their power to complete their book teasing Hayate in the process pretending to be Nanoha & Fate.

Either way their plan worked, the book is completed and Hayate transformed into someone completely different

Spoiler for Episode 10:

The 2 masked people were actually Aria & Lotte, in a previous episode we saw Chrono looking at info on Gill Graham, he was definitely onto something and was correct.

Turns out Graham was a friend of Hayate's father and has found a way to completely destroy the book, I don't want to see Hayate be sacrificed for that to happen though.

This new being is very powerful as expected, can even use Nanoha moves like that starlight breaker due to Shamal capturing the magic form the core linker.

Wrong place and time from Arias & Suzuka to appear, Nanoha & Fate are on the scene to protect them, good thing Yuno was also there to teleport them away to safety, they will obviously need to explain things to them eventually, Fate won't be doing any of the soon though she just got absorbed by the book.

Spoiler for Episode 11:

Fate seems to be in a dream world, Alicia, Rynith, Arf & Precia are all there and everyone is happy, Hayate is also in some kind of different world with another version of the dark being, she's doing her best to talk to her, Fate escaped pretty easily after talking to Alicia for a bit.

Nanoha with a great hit using full powered excelion buster, Hayate just became the administrator of the book but unfortunately the control program is going out of control, the real battle begins now.

Spoiler for Episode 12:

Awesome scene to begin with, Hayate restores the Wolkenritter and sets up for the first time, very cool looking outfit and staff.

Very ominous looking dark mass the defense program has become, Chrono has couple of great ideas to deal with it, thought it was funny how the Wolkenritter didn't want to use one of those plans due to Hayate's place being destroyed, it's really become their home and means so much to them.

Good thing they have a healer like Shamal, now Nanoha & Fate are in top fighting condition again, I like how everyone got a moment to shine by introducing themselves and attacking various parts of the defense program, well whatever it has become.

Starlight Breaker, Plasman Zanber Breaker & Ragnarok Breaker, was an awesome triple unison attack we got to see, Shamal was quick to locate the core which they transported into outer space and then was obliterated by the Arc-en-ciel.

I thought it was going to be a happy ending there but all of a sudden Hayate collapsed.

Spoiler for Episode 13 & Series Score:

Good to hear that Hayate will eventually become fully healed but didn't want to hear Reinforce saying she will sacrifice herself, even though it will stop the control program sad to see her leave so soon after become friends with Hayate.

Nanoha & Fate have the tough task of sending her away by request, not surprised that Hayate sensed what was going on and rushed to the scene, and that was a very sad and emotional moment they shared before Reinforce disappeared, but she did leave behind a fragment of herself for Hayate.

Nanoha & Fate have an even tougher task of trying to explain everything to Arisa & Suzuka and then with the help of Lindy to Nanoha's entire family.

Ah a time skip of six years, everyone is going to the same school together, we get to see Hayate walk fine, thought it was funny seeing Vita about to walk Zafira like a normal dog, Chrono takes over the role of captain from Lindy who is now also Fates mother.

Nanoha, Fate & Hayate with the new Reinforce all set up together to end the episode and series.

10/10 Outstanding from start to finish.
